Last week in Geneva 🇨🇭
It was great to be back in Geneva last week for a few days of sales calls, catching up with our partners and meeting some new faces along the way.
We also joined the Renaissance Workshops - Luxury Travel Summit for the first time, where we had the pleasure of representing JA Manafaru Maldives , part of the JA Resorts & Hotels collection. We really enjoyed the format — a great mix of agencies, a very nice atmosphere and, most importantly, time for proper conversations. Thank you to the Renaissance team for the warm welcome and for putting together such a great event!
We always enjoy working in French-speaking Switzerland. It’s a market we know well, with many long-standing relationships, and being able to speak French makes those conversations and connections even more personal.
The Swiss market is also a great fit for the kind of hotels we represent. Travellers here appreciate individual, tailor-made journeys and are willing to invest in experiences that feel special and genuinely worth it. For us, that makes staying close to the travel advisors and meeting them in person all the more important.
It was wonderful to catch up with friends and colleagues from the industry and spend a few productive days together in Geneva.

We were delighted to join the Hummingbird Travel event and present JA Manafaru Maldives to the travel partners.

Located in the untouched Haa Alifu Atoll, JA Manafaru offers a quieter side of the Maldives – a remote island with 84 villas and residences, surrounded by lush nature and the Indian Ocean.

Rediscovering Sri Lanka – and seeing it with completely new eyes 🇱🇰

Our Founder & CEO, Nina Fleischmann-Torosyan (Nina Torosyan ), has just returned from an inspiring journey through Sri Lanka with the Karusan Travels team, rediscovering a destination she visited many years ago.

What stood out most was how much Sri Lanka has evolved, while still retaining something increasingly rare — genuine warmth, authenticity and a true sense of place.

From the tea country around Kandy and the wildlife of Yala to beautiful boutique stays and the distinctive flavours of Jaffna cuisine in the North, the journey revealed so many different sides of the country — and how much still remains relatively unexplored.

Sri Lanka is not simply a destination to visit once. There are many Sri Lankas to discover. ✨
