Seit Monaten waren wir in die Planung involviert und konnten mit unserer Asphaltarmierung aus Carbon Teile der Strecke gegen abhebende Kräfte der Fahrzeuge ertüchtigen. Lob an mein Team!

Today we had our first asphalt project in 2016 and it was near to our home office in Frankfurt. The asphalt road had plenty of cracks and the bearing capacity of the ground was given. Instead of removing the asphalt surface layer, the binder course and the base course, only the surface layer and binder course was removed. Approximately 6000 m² of the S&P pre-bituminised glass fibre mesh (S&P Glasphalt® G) was installed on top of the base course.
S&P Glasphalt® G will increase the stiffness between the asphalt layers. In the future, the cracks will be absorbed by the stiffest part of the construction, which is S&P Glasphalt® G, instead of moving to the surface. The road is now very well prepared for the future. From an economical and environmental point of view it is a perfect solution.
Cracks in roads cause damage to many streets. Water seeps into the cracks and freezes by minus temperatures. The cracks are then likely to widen and become more and more hazardous over time, due to the expansion of the water when it freezes.

Together with NATO and University Skopje we did the static calculation for the reninforcement of 21 bridges after the Kosovo-conflict. The reinfocement was necessary to increase the flexuaral- and shear strength. CESAS (Ankara) applied more than 40.000 m of our Carbon Laminates and Carbon-Fiber-Sheets.

After 3 years waiting we received the new approval for our Carbon laminates according to the new guideline and Eurocode 2. S&P Clever Reinforcement is proud to be the only one with an approval for felxural applied laminates-so far.
