But why do social considerations often take a backseat in industry standards? And what sets a minimum wage apart from a living wage? SUSTAINABILITY BY DESIGN: MORE THAN TIMELESSNESS & RECYCLABLE MATERIALS ♻️

Sustainability begins in the design process. In collections made from already existing materials, for example, resources are conserved.

Made-to-measure and made-to-order models reduce inventories to a minimum, and approaches like inclusive and adaptive fashion provide more sustainable alternatives for customer groups that still often have to resort to fast fashion due to a lack of supply.

Through this talk, more aspects of sustainability will become clear that go beyond common certifications and shed light on the significant role the design process plays in sustainability.
