On May 18th, which marks the birthday of Crown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria, a new Maypole will be installed in his honor.

The village Leutstetten, situated near the castle, was the former residence of the Crown Prince.

In memory of a great Bavarian who was deeply connected to his homeland and its traditions but always looked forward, embracing innovation and the future with great openness and curiosity.

An impressive building. The Bavarian State Opera, built by King Maximilian Joseph I of Bavaria in Munich. He comes from the same family that invented modern beer with the Bavarian Purity Law in 1516. To this day, "Kaltenberg Royal Lager" is brewed in this tradition by the same family. This beer is truly grand opera.
