While researching for my new virtual for September, I came across this report by McKinsey & Company (link at the bottom!) about how Covid-19 has made the need for and even more pressing.

Here are a few highlights:

1. 87% of Executives are experiencing skill gaps within their teams, but struggle to address them from within

2. Employees need to find ways to rapidly adapt and to apply a new set of skill

3. Adapting employees' skills to the post-pandemic ways of working is crucial to building company resilience

4. Chief Learning Officers and Training Managers now have the chance to renew their learning organization

The article makes an important point:

"Now is the time for companies to double down on their learning budgets."
