The Retail Marketeers Next Generation Award:
Maike und Sina Fahrer ausgezeichnet
Im Rahmen des NACS Convenience Leaders Exchange 2020 wurde erstmals der The Retail Marketeers Next Generation Award vergeben. Dieser Award soll außergewöhnliche Leistungen der Nachfolgegeneration in der Tankstellenbranche würdigen. Die ersten Gewinnerinnen der Auszeichnung sind Maike und Sina Fahrer vom Karlsruher Tankstellenunternehmen EFA. „Die Fusion von Bäckerei und Tankstellengeschäft führen Maike und Sina Fahrer zu einer Erfolgsformel zusammen, die als bemerkenswertes Vorbild im Außer Haus und Tankstellen-Markt gesehen werden kann“, begründet Christian Warning, Gründer der The Retail Marketeers, die Preisverleihung an die beiden Enkeltöchter des Firmengründers Emil Fahrer. Sven Wucherpfennig, Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter des Award Sponsors Alvern Media, ergänzt: „Die Marken- und Formatkombination von Hatz, als lokal verortete Bäckereimarke und EFA, als konzernunabhängiger Tankstellenanbieter, ist endlich auch einmal globale Best Practice aus Deutschland, die Wolfgang Fahrer in bemerkenswerter Weise an seine Töchter Maike und Sina weitergibt“. Thomas Cebulla, Geschäftsführer Rheinland Kraftstoff, der die Familie Fahrer schon lange persönlich kennt, stellte in seiner Laudatio die generationsübergreifende Leidenschaft für den Sport, insbesondere das Boxen und den Fußball hervor: „Der Erfolg von EFA sind ein guter Beweis dafür, wie wichtig ein erfolgsorientierter Teamgeist in unserem Geschäft ist“.

For example, it might seem counterintuitive that Amazon is a major threat to Google’s core search business. But you can see this by following the money through the loop: a significant portion of Google’s revenue comes from search queries for things that can be bought on Amazon, and the buying experience on Amazon (from initial purchasing intent to consumption/unboxing) is significantly better than the buying experience on most non-Amazon e-commerce sites you find via Google searches. After a while, shoppers learn to skip Google and go straight to Amazon.
