We congratulate timpla GmbH on opening Germany's largest timber module plant for sustainable buildings! 🎉

Together with timpla and representatives from politics and business, we celebrated the inauguration of the 20,000-square-meter new building in Eberswalde yesterday. In the future, timber modules for sustainable and climate-friendly buildings will be produced there. 🌱

As factory and logistics experts, we supported the planning and implementation of the new plant since the concept phase onwards. 💡

Together with REWE Group, we celebrated the opening of its new central warehouse for the storage of dry goods in Magdeburg Rothensee 👏

Over the past three years, REWE Group, together with io as lead consultant, has implemented the logistics network with a second central warehouse location in Magdeburg.

In the future, the North and East regions will be supplied with around 20,000 items from the dry goods assortment on an area of around 50,000 square meters. Automation will play a key role here – more than 50% of the warehouse processes in retail logistics will be fully automated. 💡

In addition to automation, sustainability is also at the forefront when it comes to implementing retail logistics. The creation of the second location will significantly reduce the number of supply routes in REWE Group's logistics network. 🌱

Zukunftsstarke Ersatzteilversorgung für BMW 👏

io hat gemeinsam mit BMW ein automatisches Lagersystem geplant, das im Frühjahr 2024 erfolgreich am Standort Dingolfing in Betrieb genommen wurde.

Das Herzstück der Logistikanlage bildet das hochdynamische Shuttle-Lager. Durch eine maximal kompakte Lagerung wird die Durchsatzgeschwindigkeit bei der Auftragsabwicklung gesteigert. 🔝

Nachhaltigkeit: Unser gemeinsames Ziel 🌱

Wir haben für das Medizintechnikunternehmen Erbe Group einen nachhaltigen neuen Produktionsstandort konzipiert und dessen Umsetzung begleitet. Er ist einer der allerersten Industriebauten mit KfW-Standard 40 plus, der bislang lediglich für Wohngebäude vorgesehen war. 👏

io gratuliert Erbe zur erfolgreichen Eröffnung seines neuen Produktionsgebäudes in Rangendingen! 🎉👏

„Das ist die größte Einzelinvestition, die wir in der über 170-jährigen Firmengeschichte getätigt haben“, sagt Christian Erbe, Geschäftsführer der Erbe Elektromedizin. Realisiert wurde das Gebäude überwiegend in Holzbauweise. Erbe entschied sich für seinen zweiten Stammsitz bewusst für Holz als Baustoff und für Energieeffizienz.

2019 startete das Projekt gemeinsam mit io. Als Generalplaner übernahmen wir die Objektplanung, die Prozess- und Logistikplanung sowie die Küchen- und Reinraumplanung.

Wir sind immer noch begeistert von der feierlichen Eröffnung und wünschen Erbe alles Gute für die Zukunft.

Kärcher hat sein neues Service Center in Ahorn erfolgreich in Betrieb genommen! 👏

Als Logistikplaner begleiteten wir die Realisierung, Inbetriebnahme und den Umzug. Auf rund 10.000 Quadratmetern werden künftig Produkte aus zehn europäischen Ländern gewartet und repariert.
