What: Introduction to Cynefin and Agile Systems Dynamics
When: 2020-12-01 18:00
Where: Online event
Description: Since the last two years, you heart a lot about a model named Cynefin. What's Cynefin and what's Agile Systems Dynamics? >> https://medium.com//when-if-agile-is-nothing-more-than-the-dynamic-of-a-system-8c8d02db3de1 I asked my friend Scott for an introduction to Cynefin. The model has been designed by Dave Snowden and both Scott and I have been trained on it a couple of years ago.Cynefin has been designed to help to lead through complexity. Scott will polarise the conversation on the cause and effect relationship. I will introduce you the concept of Agile Systems Dynamics as an extension of Cynefin. The Agile Systems Dynamics is focusing on the behaviour and the interaction of the agents in the system. Indeed we will have a debate and I invite you to contribute to the discussion. Scott Pochron: https://www.linkedin.com/in/scottpochron/ Scott is also a CAC (certified agile coach) and we are partners in business and both Board Members of Requisite Agility. Cynefin and ASD are part of the agile4HR, AO and Agile Coaching training.

What: agile4HR Workshop (free for members)
When: 2020-10-14 14:30
Where: Online event
Description: Agile4HR is an on-going research project with Agile and HR people to get the answer on 2 questions: - is Agile HR?- how can we create HR Agile In the economic context of a company, wealth is created by :- business value- knowledge value- and the optimal utilisation of inner resources It is also true for people. Being happy at work doesn’t mean being lazy at work, it means working better, more efficiently and being able to answer this simple question: what kind of value do you create when just doing your job? What kind of value can you create if you are fighting to survive? Optimisation of resources means to create an environment where new ideas can be safely tested in a continuous flow of intrinsic innovation. During the last two decades, we learnt from agile and lean that people involvement increases business agility and reduces the response to risk. We tested this in the area of IT now it’s time to involve the whole structure. The evolution of agile moved practitioners from engineering to organisational design and change management where « human interactions » is key. Instead of fighting against HR, shouldn’t we work together? Shouldn’t we hack HR with them to enable a human-centric pivot? This workshop pretend to be open and collaborative. It is the entry door to more deeper workshops and training coming soon. It will be a free workshop offered to the agilePRAXIS community. The session will be recorded and the material will be used for coming sessions. If you are not feeling comfortable with that, please let us now. Trainers/Facilitators: Virginia Anderson and Pierre Neis
