In Berlin, we’ve decided to get into the Christmas spirit in a slightly different way: With a cookie baking – and especially decorating – session in the office kitchen. 🍪 The colourful results are definitely worth seeing, even though we’re afraid they’re also too delicious to last long.

Luckily, we’ve not only taken some pictures of these artworks in time, but also documented the work in progress along the way. 🌟

🎁 Holidays presents of a different kind: At our white elephant gift exchange in Heidenheim today, a whole range of parcels were swapped – and unwrapped as well as handed on with mixed degrees of joy and sorrow.

We’re not quite sure if everyone is going home with something they consider useful in the end, or whether some curiosities might show up again at a future exchange, but it’s safe to say that we had a lot of fun – not least due to the additional bonus of good food, cookies, and mulled w**e.

🇹🇷 Meanwhile in Turkey… we had our proper opening celebration – including visitors from Germany and, with Yaren and Denizhan, not one but two new additions to the team. We’ll give them a proper introduction soon, but for now, we’re excited to have our Antalya office up and officially in daily operations. 🎉

There’s only 1 ½ months of 2024 left, and we definitely aren’t done with introducing our newcomers of this year, so without further ado: A warm welcome to Célia Martins who’s joined us to strengthen our toxicology team! ☀️

With a degree in Eng. Biotechnology, she started her career after graduation as a researcher in the field of genetic toxicology, also passing on her experience by training and teaching students.

Following her passion for toxicology, it’s central for Célia to be able to deliver expertise for a better life, with less exposure risk, to supply risk assessments, and to derive limit values of exposure for ingredients and impurities – and we’re looking forward to passing this on to our services and customers, too. ⚗️

While the temperatures are getting colder, our greetings to our latest team members stay just as warm: Welcome to Renata Ferreira, who’s joined us as Graphic Designer & Artworks Manager. ☀️

Renata has a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and more than 10 years of experience in creating artworks and marketing campaigns for the pharmaceutical industry.

As part of our design and art team at THE FORCE, she is involved in supporting our corporate branding strategy and developing artworks for our clients – always ensuring consistency across all design materials and making sure both regulatory standards and creative objectives are met.

We’ve already started some projects together, but we’re of course already looking forward to more of them coming. Welcome to the team!

What – and more importantly who – else is new at THE FORCE? One of the people we’re happy to introduce is Ana Saraiva, our new Medical Affairs Manager. 🌼

Ana is a biochemist with a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering. During her 9 years in Medical Affairs, she has worked in cross-functional teams for pre-launch as well as launch activities, development and implementation of tactical plans, clinical research, and medical experts’ engagement projects.
In all her work, Ana never loses sight of her personal aspiration that the best care should be easily and timely accessible to every patient around the world, so we’re obviously glad to have her on board. Welcome to the team!

Miso soup from the machine in our new office? That’s right, because THE FORCE is now big in Japan! 🇯🇵

Okay, maybe not quite so big yet, but we’re still very excited to welcome THE FORCE Japan into our universe – and to grow together in the future. 🎊

Located at the heart of Yokohama, the open space in our office building doesn’t only feature a working area with a view of Mount Fuji on a clear day, but also the essential drinks for everyday work in this part of the world – from coffee to the soup just mentioned.

Under the management of Moto Dohi, who’s also been dealing with a lot of necessary steps for the entire set-up, we’re now even better equipped to support our local customers in (and around) Japan. 楽しみにしています！

🎃 No tricks – but in fact a lot of treats: We’ve still got a few October newcomers to introduce, starting today with an extra-spooky welcome to Beatriz de Lima, who’s joined us as Graphic Designer & Artworks Manager.

With a master’s degree in Graphic Design and Editorial Projects, she has been working as a graphic designer within the healthcare industry for the last couple of years.

While her core competence lies in packaging and overall offline media, such as cartons, informative flyers, or outdoor advertising, she’s also well-versed in and passionate about other forms of digital art and areas of application, from social media to illustration.

But no matter what, Beatriz’ goal is to make a positive impact on people’s lives through the pharmaceutical field. At THE FORCE, she’s excited to provide both us and our clients with solutions to a wide variety of artworks and other design needs.
