After successfully electrifying 18 schools across previous project phases, we are proud to share that five additional schools have now been equipped with off-grid systems, bringing the total to 23 schools powered.

Each of these five newly installed systems features a 4.15 kWp solar PV system paired with 9.6 kWh of lithium battery storage, providing clean and reliable electricity to students and teachers in the Inรญrida region. What began as a small pilot project has grown into a long-term commitment to improving access to education through sustainable energy. Despite the challenging logistics of transporting equipment deep into the Amazon, every completed installation represents new opportunities for learning and community development.

This project would not have been possible without the support of the Latin American aid organisation Adveniat โ€“ Das Lateinamerika-Hilfswerk, which organised the project in collaboration with the Vicariate of Inรญrida and BEGECA gGmbH and provided a significant portion of the necessary funding from donations. The Vicariate of Inรญrida also supported the selection of school sites and coordinated local contacts and logistical matters on the ground. Also, sincere thank you to our Colombian installation partner SUNEO ENERGY SAS, and all the local communities whose collaboration has made this initiative possible.

If you are planning to bring reliable off-grid energy to remote schools, healthcare facilities, or communities, get in touch with our team to discuss how we can support your project.

Hear what our partners have to say!

Strong partnerships are at the heart of every successful project. This testimonial from Juan Carlos Escobar Ramirez, Project Manager / Project Engineer at GAUFF Engineering, reflects the collaboration behind the ASER300 rural electrification project in Senegal.

This project is helping bring clean, reliable solar energy to thousands of households across remote villages. Seeing this impact come to life on the ground is what drives our work every day. A big thank you to GAUFF Engineering for the strong partnership and trust throughout this journey.

Thatโ€™s a wrap on Intersolar Europe 2026! ๐ŸŒž

Three inspiring days in Munich, where the global energy industry came together to exchange ideas, showcase innovation, and build stronger partnerships. For our team, the event was about much more than walking the exhibition halls. It was about learning, connecting, and strengthening the relationships that drive the energy transition forward.

We kicked things off at the conference, gaining valuable insights into the latest developments and trends shaping the renewable energy sector. We were also happy to be invited to the ARE Breakfast, where we connected with fellow ARE members, and exchanged perspectives

And a big thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us. We leave Munich with new ideas, and exciting opportunities for the months ahead.

Until next time, Munich! โšก๐ŸŒ

Over a decade ago, Asantys Systems was featured in a Deutsche Gesellschaft fรผr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) magazine for its role in advancing decentralized solar energy solutions across Africa. The article, โ€œExporting the Energy Revolution,โ€ highlighted how our work supported rural electrification. Bringing reliable, sustainable power to communities where access was once limited or non-existent. From installing photovoltaic systems to enabling local capacity building, the mission was clear: energy access as a catalyst for development.

What has changed since then?

While the mission remains the same, the scale and sophistication have evolved. Today, Asantys Systems continues to:

1. Deliver innovative renewable energy solutions across emerging markets, with strong local teams in East (Asantys Systems East Africa) and West Africa, enabling faster ex*****on and deeper, long-term partnerships.
2. Integrate smart technologies and scalable infrastructure, turning energy access into economic opportunity, powering businesses, agriculture, healthcare, and livelihoods.
3. Scale real impact, with 8600+ projects delivered across 54+ countries, moving beyond pilots to bankable, scalable infrastructure.

From early-stage solar deployments to more advanced, integrated systems, our journey reflects how far decentralized energy has come, and how much more is possible. Looking back, we are proud of the impact.

Looking ahead, we are focused on scaling it. Let us shape the next decade of clean energy together. Get in touch with us to explore collaboration opportunities.

This Labour Day, we recognize the dedication, resilience, and hard work of people across our industry and beyond, especially those on the ground/ project sites.

While we celebrate progress, we also remain mindful of the challenges many workers continue to face, from demanding conditions to evolving workplace expectations. Meaningful change requires ongoing commitment, responsibility, and collective effort.

At Asantys Systems, we stand in support of fair, safe, and sustainable working environments for all.

We are back from , the Energy Access Investment Forum in Nairobi, energized by a week of meaningful exchanges on how to accelerate clean energy access at scale.

Across discussions with investors, developers, and partners, a few key insights stood out:

๐Ÿ”ต The โ€œmissing middleโ€ between financing and implementation remains one of the biggest barriers to scale. In energy access, this also reflects a gap in project development: early-stage projects are often costly, underfunded, and lack the pre-financing and de-risking needed to become truly investable
๐Ÿ”ต There is significant capital available, but deploying it effectively requires bankable, well-prepared projects, not just pipelines on paper
๐Ÿ”ต Investors are increasingly engaging EPCs, but the real value lies in working with experienced EPC partners who ensure long-term system performance, not just lowest upfront cost
๐Ÿ”ต Too often, price pressure leads to underperforming systems, lifecycle cost and reliability must be prioritized over short-term savings
๐Ÿ”ต Standardized project structures only succeed when matched with strong ex*****on and increasingly data-driven optimization across the project lifecycle
๐Ÿ”ต Long-term success in energy access depends as much on build quality and lifecycle performance as it does on initial financing

This is where we come in. Not just to design or engineer, but to make sure that available investment actually translates into operational, reliable energy systems that perform in real-world conditions. The conversations in Nairobi made it clear: the sector is not short of ambition or capital, itโ€™s about strengthening the bridge between the two.

Thank you to Alliance for Rural Electrification and everyone we connected with at EAIF2026. We look forward to continuing these discussions and turning aligned intent into delivered impact.

Here are our key from the 6th S-Access: International Conference on Solar Technologies & Hybrid Mini-Grids for Energy Access, held from 8โ€“10 April 2026 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The event brought together nearly 150 international experts, practitioners, policymakers, and researchers from over 40 countries working on renewable energy solutions to improve energy access. It provided a valuable platform for exchange, collaboration, and learning across the sector.

Stefan Trittler represented us and presented our work on Productive Use of Renewable Energy ( ), with a focus on e-mobility and cold chain solutions. He highlighted their role in strengthening rural development, improving logistics, and enabling more resilient infrastructure in underserved regions. Across the conference, several key themes consistently emerged: the importance of scalable and locally adapted solutions, stronger integration between energy and productive-use applications, and the need for sustainable business models that ensure long-term impact on the ground.

We thank TTA and the Universitat de les Illes Balears for organising and hosting this excellent event, and all participants for their valuable contributions.
