During this vintage we will harvest some more Pinot Noir grapes, because of adding two new plots with old deep rooted vines. The dominating loessloam structure of the soil is ancient and was never changed before. Like this the old vines aren’t stressed by missing water or sth due to this horrible dryness we have to go through in summer 22. The plots get some thermic flow winds at evening and night. We only removed single leaves on the shadowed side. So we hopefully can catch the cool and elegant earthy and herbal aromes we totally are in love with, when we have Pinot on our palates. 🌿🤍 we pray and hope for rainy clouds tomorrow and Saturday and a soonish game changing climate situation, without any catastrophes…
