Our social media has come to an end. 🎉

We were busy with many orders and the into new facilities.

Since has grown rapidly in the last years and to accommodate our growing staff we moved for the second time in the last two years.

Our production is now located in larger rooms one floor below the employees in sales, marketing and co.
An extra meeting room has also been set up. We are happy about the and the that come with it at EcoPhi. And we are looking forward to interacting more actively with our partners on social media again!🙌

Stay tuned for upcoming posts. 😃

According to a recent study by the African Development Bank, in , solar power could potentially generate an excess of 2,000 kWh/m2. ☀️
But still, only an estimated 16% of the population has access to . In addition, Somalia has higher electricity tariffs compared to neighboring countries Kenya and Ethiopia.

So there is a huge potential for solar energy. 📈
For our partner Tamarso energy and industry, EcoPhi is monitoring their solar water pumping systems in Somalia.

On the platform, they can view their systems online at any time. The EcoPhi dashboards provide an ideal for simple and especially for complex or distributed plants.

Monitoring can thus optimize the plants and reduce costs in operation. 🙌

Cold storages are used a lot in regions off-grid. They have the great advantage of preventing food waste.

To operate them and , remote monitoring and control is a big advantage. 📊

With our remote and solutions the possibilities for such systems are huge, such as:

- Monitoring and control of the cold storage system
- Monitoring of the technical condition of the system and its efficiency
- Management overview
- Reporting and ad-hoc alarms 📑

is the largest economy in sub-Saharan Africa with a GDP of approximately $448 billion.

It also has the continent’slargest population, estimated at over 200 million. Despite this and being one of the largest oil and gas producing countries in the world, it struggles to provide power. With only about 60% electrification, Nigeria falls behind comparable sub-Saharan countrieslike Ghana (83% electrification rate) and Kenya (64% electrification rate).

Solar energy ☀️ is considered one of the main ways for Nigeria to reach its electrification targets. It is increasingly adopted across the country: by households to power small appliances, in the shape of minigrids powering entire markets or (rural) communities, and by corporate entities who seek to reduce their reliance on expensive diesel generators.

With our , we support solar installers and energy auditors to perform real-time energy audits easily and professionally which helps to properly size energy systems or optimize existing systems. 🙌
