The idea for the Rheinpreneur Newcomer Award was born from the success of the Berlin Newcomer Startup Award — a program we've proudly organized 6 times, awarding many newcomer entrepreneurs and building a thriving, supportive community around them.

Through that experience, we saw just how much entrepreneurial energy and untapped potential newcomers bring — and how visibility, mentorship, and funding can create real impact.

Now, we’re bringing that vision to North Rhine-Westphalia, one of the most dynamic and diverse regions in Germany. With the generous support of TARGOBANK, we're excited to empower a new generation of first-generation migrant founders.

Nope! You just need an idea — it doesn’t have to be perfect. We’re here to support you from the beginning.

🎥 Do I really have to submit a video, even if you know me already?
Yes, but don’t worry — it’s just a short video to tell your story. No fancy production needed!

💸 Will you take any ownership of my idea?
Absolutely not. We are 100% equity-free — you keep full ownership. We just provide financial support, no strings attached.

👩‍🎓👨‍💼 Do I need to be unemployed or working to apply?
