New role in my life since yesterday: enjoying newborn cuddles 🤱🏻.

My daughter Agnes Ottilie joined us yesterday morning and made us a family of four. After 30+ hours of labor and 45 minutes of pushing, I had the most amazing, calm, empowering, beautiful, and dreamed delivery I always wanted.

Business will take a pause now. I want to enjoy cloud nine as much as possible and then come in full force back to work.

I guess it's time to introduce myself... It's been a while and 400+ followers (!).

My name is Maria-Paz. I'm a Digital Marketing Strategist & Coach and an expert in Business Intelligence, Online Marketing, and E-Commerce with twelve years of professional experience in Chile, France, and Germany.

ARE YOU NOT BELIEVING IN YOURSELF? (save 💾 this for later)

Don't worry. There are times we don't believe we can achieve goals or do something we want so badly.

But here's the thing: this is just a way our brains have to protect us from the unknown, from the "danger" it can bring to do something we haven't done before 👻.

I've talked about this topic with several people, and this is the main lessons I've learned about not believing in myself:

🤘🏼 WE HAVE TO KNOW WE ARE THE BEST AND WE ROCK!

💪🏼 WE HAVE STARTED BUSINESSES, THINGS THAT MANY PEOPLE DREAM OF AND WISH FOR, BUT DON'T HAVE THE COURAGE TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP.

🙆🏻‍♀️ CONGRATULATE YOURSELF, PAT YOURSELF IN THE BACK, GIVE YOURSELF ENOUGH CREDIT, AND TRUST THAT WHAT YOU'RE DOING IS AMAZING.

It's OK to feel discouraged, but what's most important is to get up and continue chasing your goals and dreams.

By far, the success I'm most proud of in my career is being able to create my own business while being a mother! 👩‍👧‍👦

Since I can remember, I always wanted to work from home when I had children, but somehow I felt it was more a dream rather than a possibility.

You'll see... I worked for 12 years in the corporate world, and it because so easy to receive instructions on what to do. I always believed I would NEVER be able to be independent just because I felt I needed someone to tell me what to do.

But when the opportunity came (and boy... it wasn't an easy situation to go through) I just took a leap of faith and started working on my business. 👩🏻‍💻

I'll be the first one to say it hasn't been easy, but during this last year as an entrepreneur, I've learned sooo many valuable lessons, such as: 👇🏼

🚶🏻‍♀️ GO AND GET IT. Do you want something? Make it happen! As simple as that.

💎 BE SURE ABOUT YOUR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE. Who you are and what you bring with you are enough to make the change. This reassurance gives you more strength to walk the path with your chin up.

⚒ TAKE ACTION. You HAVE to make the moves to accomplish what you want. There are a few mind readers in the world, and running into one is 1 in 1 million. So get yourself out there, research options, and start doing and building your future.

👻 EMBRACE FEAR AND FAILURES. The road wasn't always smooth. Oh, if I only could tell you the experiences I had.... I should definitely write a book about this journey!. But after shedding the tears and getting out of the situation, I could get the bird's eye's view of what happened, learn about it and accept that it happened for a reason, and it was always a good one.

In the past, I was spending soooo much time working on my newsletter and email campaigns.⁠ 📝

What should I write about this week? Are people going to feel identified with what I say? And then, another week came, and I had to think about it all again 😓. ⁠

Writing doesn't come easy to me, and I really need to be inspired to write something good. But every single week writing a Newsletter? And when I had to do a launch? That was getting me nuts!⁠

I was getting stressed out, overwhelmed, and dreading when the time came to work on my email marketing. Instead of enjoying working on my business, I wasn't having a good time.⁠

It took soo much time out of my business, time that I could've dedicated to working on my clients or creating more offers and content.⁠

🤰🏻 My baby girl is supposed to come in February. I don't know how it's going to be with my business and all, but one thing I'm sure of: I'll make it through!

👩‍👧‍👦 I'm planning to take maternity leave, enjoy the new bundle of joy, and make his brother used to her presence. I don't know how long it will last, but I'll keep you up to date. 😉
