Having an increasing number of familiar and new faces joining us for the Automotive Cybersecurity Afterwork proves: our monthly reunion is achieving its goal to enable knowledge sharing among professionals from different disciplines in automotive cybersecurity.

We were glad to once again host around 40 professionals from a variety of backgrounds and open informative discussions about Continual cybersecurity activities according to ISO/SAE 21434 with Polly Gitau, Consultant and Orhun Suezer, Associate Consultant.

During the presentation participants got the chance to deep dive into the UN Regulation No. 155 and ISO/SAE 21434, learn about relevant clauses and guidelines, and gained a practical overview of the recommended process for Incident Response Plan. Moreover, they gained a practical overview of cybersecurity monitoring, event evaluation, vulnerability analysis, and vulnerability management.

This far from traditional presentation and group dynamic, gave people the chance to share recurring challenges they’ve encountered in the “mailboxes”:
-Cybersecurity Monitoring
-Cybersecurity Evaluation
-Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analysis
-Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management. and solved them in group with professional recommendations given by our friendly staff who actively participated in this event.

Challenges for Cybersecurity Monitoring and Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management mailboxes were overflown. Our team was more than pleased to have provided possible answers to the challenges of limitations on available best practices, interpretation of technical service requirements, unclarities within in-vehicle monitoring and more.
