Femtosecond and Excimer lasers are mobile workstations that provide many treatment options for patients in the field of refractive eye surgery.

The workstations are designed to maximise patient comfort and provide medical staff with high functionality and easy usability.

N+P was responsible for the product design of both lasers as well as the GUI.

The Cambaum Smart Gate is an automated border control solution that improves the boarding experience through intuitive passenger guidance.

The passport reader and bio-metric facial recognition software are combined with an integrated sensor system to ensure smooth passenger flow and prevent queues from forming.

N+P worked to enhance the passenger boarding experience and branding concept for Cambaum Security.

Sustainable light-rail concept - designed to provide comfort for short- to mid-length urban journeys and can be adapted to satisfy different stakeholder needs.

With an increased interest in sustainable alternatives for private vehicles, expectations on public transport are evolving. This study shows a near-future tram concept which centres around quality time for passengers. The iconic exterior design features light rings inside the coloured frames which communicate with passengers, cyclists, and cars through different light animations. The interior focuses on accessibility and is inspired by residential interiors to raise the standard of comfort and enable passengers to relax and take a break from the daily hustle. Warm and soft materials are combined with an gentle colour palette and smart features such as device-charging options round up the experience.

For the first time in the history of surgical microscopy, the surgical field is not visualized by an optical image. Was that time well spent or was it rushed, stressful and exhausting? We at N+P Design see a lot of potential and opportunities to create a new seamless travel experience. JOY – the journey of tomorrow – is a vision of the future. It is meant to inspire and demonstrate a near future perspective how we could travel worry-free, comfortably, safely and how we can make our life easier, healthier and our time more precious.

We live in a very fast-moving world, a world that is getting more and more complex. Caused by digitalization, our work and life balance are continuously being fused together. People are seeking flexible and need-driven solutions to find the right balance between private and work life. But not just the connection between work and life is important – it is quality time in general that we seek. Homes, workspaces as well as mobility interiors should fulfil our need for physical, multi-sensorial and emotional wellbeing. @ München Lehel

The journey of tomorrow with JOY - this is how we want to travel in future. ✨

With our internal case study, we created a new seamless travel experience. Joy consists of a service platform and an autonomous electric vehicle with a tailored interior based on customers‘ needs. The service platform can be used for leisure or business travel, includes a one-stop-shop booking process, personal travel assistance, discovery tools, food services and much more. The interior offers several configurations for specific user needs and a scalable number of passengers.

Due to innovative technology and traveller-oriented thinking Joy can replace short-haul-flights, train or bus trips, car rental or taxi rides. The rigors of checking-in, security checks and tight, uncomfortable seating with lousy unhealthy food are replaced with a door to door service that also contributes to environmental protection. It will pick you up at your home or office and deliver you to the desired location: hotel, company office, manufacturing plant or family and best friend. Joy makes our life more comfortable, accessible and our time more precious. Joy is a vision of the future, with features available today.
