🚀 New Leadership Capabilities for Scaling Innovation 🌟

The role of a leader has become increasingly complex. To drive innovation at scale, it’s no longer sufficient to orchestrate efforts within the organization; partnering with other organizations is becoming essential.

This shift necessitates new leadership capabilities, which Linda Hill, a professor at Harvard Business School, refers to as the ABCs of leadership. “It is not enough to 'architect' an organization to foster a culture of innovation,” she explains. “You must also be a ‘bridger’ and a ‘catalyst’ to innovate at scale and with speed.”

Curious about what this means for your leadership journey? Read the full interview in Think:Act Magazine and prepare to elevate your innovation efforts: https://thinkact.rolandberger.com/en/ta-47/linda-hill-on-the-abcs-of-innovation

The hashtag in Davos is over, but many of the conversations will stay with us for a long time. Our Partners spent the week discussing how AI and digitalization, Europe’s competitiveness and sovereignty, and inclusion can move forward together rather than in silos.

Listen to their personal takeaways: where they see Europe gaining momentum, how the conversation on AI and inclusion needs to develop, and which responsibility lies with leaders to speak up and spark action once the cordial discussions are over and everybody is back from the mountain.

The World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2025 points to a decade shaped by fragmentation, eroding trust and growing systemic volatility. In such an environment, the question is not only how we manage risks, but how societies and institutions stay grounded while doing so.

At the Annual Meeting in Davos, our Global Managing Partner, Stefan Schaible, will join leaders from policy, media, civil society and the next generation in the Open Forum session “Staying Grounded in an Age of Uncertainty” to discuss what it takes to rebuild confidence, strengthen resilience and keep collective action possible when the world feels divided.

We look forward to contributing our perspective and to continuing the conversation with all those working on new frameworks for cooperation in uncertain times.

🔍 Session: Open Forum: Staying Grounded in an Age of Uncertainty
📅 20th of January, 12:30pm. Stay tuned for the link to the livestream.

We are returning to the in Davos this year. And once again, we are partnering with the World Woman Foundation as knowledge partner to the World Woman Davos Agenda. ✨

Together we will explore how AI, the green transition and new growth models can widen opportunities for women and underrepresented groups, rather than deepen existing gaps. Our focus is on the concrete choices that shape the future workforce, leadership pipelines and access to the digital economy. 🔍

Across a series of panels and discussions, our experts will share insights on topics such as Lasting reinvention, Industrial AI and the future of work, digital inclusion and leadership in technology. We will also listen, learn and bring these perspectives back into our client work and our own organization. 🚀

We look forward to continuing this partnership in Davos and to turning shared ambitions on gender equality into visible progress. 🤝

🌟 Corporate culture is an invisible force that has an outsized impact on the success or failure of an organization.

But how do you even begin to understand culture and the many things that influence it? And how do you gently steer it in ways that it helps the organization meet its goals rather than derail them?

Understanding and actively shaping corporate culture allows organizations to align teams, boost engagement, and achieve strategic goals more effectively.
