Dear MCA students and alumni,
the Association Friends of Consumer Research (GfV) is organizing a “fireside chat” again. The aim is to provide current students of the MCA program with the opportunity to interact with Alumni.
The event will take place in Munich downtown on 19 April 2018 at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

A year ago, a group of 21 MCA students went for an educational trip to Brussels. The trip was an opportunity to visit the different European institutions related to consumer affairs including policy making institutions such as the European Parliament and the European Commission as well as the anti-lobbying institution Corporate Europe Observatory (CEO) which challenges the influence of Big Business and corporate lobby groups in EU policy-making. Consumer related NGOs were also part of the program, the group of students had been invited to the premises of BEUC, the European consumer organization that defends the interests of all Europe’s consumers. It was also an opportunity the visit the heart of Europe during the pre-holidays period and enjoy Brussels nightlife! 😉 The trip was organized as a project work of fellow students and will for sure not be the last! 🙂
