🌍 Meet Radosław, Team Leader Development Excellence at LEONI Poland
Radosław joined LEONI Poland in 2016 after graduating with an engineering and master’s degree from the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. After initial training, he started as a Harness Designer, working on numerous projects for General Motors and Commercial Vehicles. During this time, he built strong expertise across several applications within the Capital toolchain, including design, costing, library and symbol. He also supported new customer cooperation, project implementations across all design phases, and other locations within Design & Development.
In 2019, his experience and skills were recognized when he was selected as a core team member of the iBOM standardization initiative. The iBOM (integrated Bill of Materials) helps connect engineering and manufacturing by creating a consistent, end‑to‑end data flow. Working in an international and multi-operational team, Radosław was responsible for technical solutions across the entire Capital toolchain, developing a new design‑to‑manufacturing process and training new users. This role involved close collaboration across multiple countries, teams and departments.
Over the years, Radosław steadily developed his career at LEONI, progressing from Specialist to Senior Specialist and further to Expert.
Another important step followed in 2022, when he joined a second standardization initiative: Development Excellence, to which he was dedicated in parallel for the next two years.
Today, Radosław works as a Team Leader in the Development Excellence department. Together with a team of seven members from five countries, he is responsible for Design Tools Deployments, working closely with Harness Designers by providing solutions, documentation and daily support in an international setup.
💡 His highlight?
A special moment came in 2024, when the first factory in Egypt successfully started using the new design‑to‑manufacturing toolchain. Being part of this successful implementation and the teamwork behind it made him particularly proud.
For Radosław, LEONI stands for opportunities and continuous improvement. He values the dynamic environment, constant change and the chance to make things better and more efficient. Helping colleagues and seeing their appreciation and smiles gives him the greatest satisfaction.
