On World Talent Acquisition Day, we recognize the colleagues who make these connections possible across LEONI.

As our organization continues to evolve, so do our recruitment needs. With a strong hiring focus, particularly in our growth regions of North Africa and the Americas, we are strengthening key areas and investing in new talent. Our Talent Acquisition and HR teams play a vital role in bringing the right people and skills to the right places.

Welcome to LEONI Group! 🚀

Today, we welcomed nine new talents who have started their professional journey with LEONI Germany.

This year’s group includes dual students in Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering and Mechatronics, dual master’s students as well as apprentices to become Technical Product Designers and an IT Specialist.

Their first week is all about arriving, getting to know each other and learning more about LEONI. The program includes introductions to the company and the site, IT and safety training, information about the Junior Company, a values seminar and compliance training. A shared bowling activity and pizza lunch will give the group another opportunity to get to know each other and connect outside the usual work environment.

Welcoming new talents is important to us. They bring new perspectives and ideas to our teams while gaining the knowledge and experience they need for their future careers. Supporting them from the start also helps us build the skills LEONI will need in the years ahead.

We wish all our new apprentices and dual students a great start and an exciting time at LEONI. We are happy to have you with us! 💙

What happened across the LEONI Group world in August?

From engaging with future talent in Morocco and Tunisia, supporting local communities in Ukraine and Serbia, and promoting health and well-being in Mexico, to celebrating national pride in India and demonstrating teamwork and endurance in Slovakia, August showcased LEONI’s commitment to people, community, and collaboration across its global network.

At LEONI Group, sustainability is an integral part of how we do business. Our newly published Sustainability Report 2025 highlights the progress we have made, the challenges that remain, and the actions we are taking across our entire value chain.

A major milestone in 2025 was the first comprehensive calculation and independent verification of our corporate carbon footprint across the value chain, providing a clearer picture of our climate impact and helping us identify the greatest opportunities for improvement.

Key achievements include:
✅ Independent verification of our corporate carbon footprint for the first time
✅ Improved Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Supplier Engagement Score to A
✅ EcoVadis Silver Medal with 74/100 points
✅ Further development of our climate targets following our Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitment
✅ Continued focus on recycled materials, responsible copper sourcing, and sustainable supply chains

Through our ReWire sustainability program, we are driving concrete actions in the areas of Climate, Material Efficiency & Resource Conservation, and Decent Work while preparing for future Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting requirements and strengthening collaboration with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Together, we are turning sustainability ambitions into measurable progress.
