Nearly a decade in the making, a community-led reforestation project across six sites in western Nepal is now bearing fruit. Over 131,000 native trees spanning 44 species have been planted across 76 hectares, all thanks to the wisdom and stewardship of local communities. Nature is healing, one seed at a time.

This Autumn, Carbexx will be launching the first and only crowdfunding platform for nature projects!

Carbexx will be a two-sided project platform that will enable different stakeholders to jointly implement nature restoration projects.

Project developers will be able to upload and present their projects. Companies, private individuals, NGOs or any other stakeholders will be able to support the projects financially and track the implementation throughout the entire project cycle:

As a project developer you will be able to:

- Register & present your nature projects

- Attract donors and raise capital

- Share updates and media

- Communicate with partners

If you are a donor, Carbexx will enable you to:

- Search and find projects globally

- Communicate with projects

- Support projects with integrated crowdfunding

- Manage payments according to project progress

- Track the nature project success

The platform will:

- Host an integrated crowdfunding payment system

- Have an integrated mapping system for project tracking

- Provide standardized contracts for project implementation

- Be multilanguage

- Make it easy to realize nature projects jointly and easily

To reach carbon neutrality in the 21st century, nature restoration needs to become easier, faster and more transparent. From Autumn 2025, with Carbexx this will become reality.

Nestlé, the major food corporation, has revealed that it will begin testing Airbus's latest Pléiades Neo satellites to monitor its reforestation projects.

By utilizing the high-quality images produced by the satellites, Nestlé aims to guarantee the long-term success of its tree planting efforts in sourcing areas.

This project will enable the company to showcase the quantity of carbon that it has extracted from the atmosphere through its Global Reforestation Program, which is a component of its net zero emissions goal for 2050.

The Ganges River, which is considered sacred in the Hindu religion, meanders through the mountains and plains of northern India. Beyond its religious significance, the river's water and nutrients are crucial to the farmland, economy, and daily lives of hundreds of millions of residents in the region.

PAVITR, which began in 2019 and runs through January 2024, is also an example of a nature-based solution.
