⚜️ Crossbows and Springalds in texts, 957-1327 ⚜️
This is the first batch of "raw" original sources on crossbows: 41 pages of rare, hidden and unique snippets of original texts containing the descriptions and of crossbows and springalds. The first post deals with the period 947-1327; an upcoming post will cover the sources from 1328-1500, and a third post will contain my analyses and classifications of crossbows/springalds based on all available materials.
Most sources contain a link to the online text. Wherever necessary, I can provide assistance in tracking down the original document/publication that's currently missing a link.
