We empower people to use a life design thinking process, tools and mindsets to design a flourishing work and life, especially when things change.

Designing your life is your personal design process to create a well-designed life
A well-designed life is a rich portfolio of experiences, adventures, and failures that teach us important lessons; that result in hardships that make us stronger, that help us know ourselves better; it's a life of achievements and satisfaction. And how do you get there? In their hugely successful course, Designing Your Life, Bill Burnett and Dave Evans, the Silicon Valley innovators and Stanford University design educators have helped thousands change the way they design their lives and careers. They believe that in order to change, people need a process - a design process - to help them figure out what they want and how to create it. Based on their experience they have developed the Life Design© method and have shared a lot of their knowledge in the New York Times bestseller Designing Your Life, How to Build a Well-Lived, Joyful Life. With Designing Your Life Workshops you learn how to build a future brick by brick, how to approach your own life design challenges with the same kind of curiosity that resulted in the creation of the lightbulbs, the printing press, and the Internet, and it gives you the tools and shows you a certain "mind-set" and how to use them to practice life design in your life and career.

Yes, it is hard sometimes and yet a little playfulness helps in building our way forward 😊

This morning this quote from resonated with me. How often do we try to 'get it right' - whatever that means. I notice that I get into that mode of 'getting it right' when I feel stressed.
The paradox: Trying to 'get it right' just adds to the stress rather than reducing it by proactively designing my way forward.
Have a great week everyone - and for those with children going back to to school tomorrow it might we worthwhile to share with them that 'getting it all right' is not a prerequisite for a flourishing life - it might take away some pressure 😉

LifeDesign is all about wayfinding and building your way forward - step by step.
Just like you start exploring new territory full of curiosity what’s around the next bend or over the next hill, you can discover what life has to offer you.
I'm often amazed at what comes my way when I start moving - even if I have no idea where I'm going at the beginning 🙂 .

In our workshops using principles for life and development, we usually address strategies to actively manage your .
Consciously designing the sequence of your activities, changing locations, balancing activities with energy-draining and energy-giving people and intentionally choosing the tools you work with are all possible design variables that you often have control over.
In my case that meant choosing a relaxed place and enjoying very friendly company while working on a somewhat challenging task 😊
What are your tips?

I just learned that today is the International Day of Joy!
Nobody really knows where it comes from or who invented it.
But doesn't it sometimes feel good to draw our attention to what works well, what brings us joy, what makes us laugh ......
It made me smile and I would like to take the opportunity to pass this smile on to you
Enjoy 😊
