Everyone has experienced the symptoms that occur after being bitten by an insect: from stinging and itching through to swelling and pain. The symptoms can be alleviated by the targeted effect of heat on the affected area. The beurer BR 60 Insect bite healer is the ideal, compact companion at home and on the go for an instant treatment through a quick-warming ceramic hot plate without any chemical additives.
The product development process has been driven by the goal to create a compact, intuitive and easy to use device, that communicates high-value and trustworthy medical competence. The result is a product that amazes through its unmistakable simplicity. When switching on the device, a small blue LED dot magically shines through the white housing, communicating the ready to use status of the device.
A centric positioned activation button visually dominates the top shell. Underlined by a surrounding LED ring, communicating the two level of treatment duration by either glowing half-sided or entirely.
Besides the simplicity of use, the device convinces with its compact and palm stone like overall shape. The lower surface intuitively guides all fingertips to their designated area and allows a precise positioning of the treating, quick-warming ceramic hot plate on the affected skin area.
A soft and matt finished white plastic housing supports the overall professional, medical and high-value visual appeal of this essential everyday companion.

BMW Motorrad - Bike To Bike Communication Module
One of our products awarded with an iF Award 2020.
An exciting project with the team at BMW Motorrad.

The Bike-To-Bike Communication Module enables wireless voice connection between member of a motorcycling group. Both, the rider and pillion passenger, in total up to 12 people are connected to the other members of a group. It is designed as a durable tool. Its ideal compact size, an ergonomic rubber frame, a prominent main button and a rotatable antenna released by a front faced lever allow an easy handling even with motorcycle gloves while fitting a BMW typical style. A clip and a hook allow multiple mounting options form bags to cases to clothing pockets, making the module an ideal, versatile communication tool for motorcycling enthusiasts.

We are proud to announce that the new Kitzbühel Fleckalmbahn by LEITNER ropeways with an interior seating design by AHACKENBERG DESIGN has been officially released. The new cable car will go operational in December 2019. Still a lot to do to meet the schedule. We'll keep you posted!

We are proud to announce a RedDot 2019 Award for WMF Lumero Coffee Maker designed by AHACKENBERG DESIGN.

The Red Dot Award: Product Design is one of the world’s largest design competitions. In 2019, designers and manufacturers from 55 countries entered more than 5,500 products in the competition. The international jury comprises experienced experts from different disciplines and has been convening for more than 60 years in order to select the year’s best designs. During an adjudication process that spans several days, they try out the products, discuss them and ultimately reach a well-founded decision regarding the design quality of the entries. True to the motto “In search of good design and innovation”, their assessment focuses on criteria such as the level of innovation, functionality, formal quality, longevity and ergonomics.
