Practical knowledge that counts on the construction site! 💡

That's exactly what we brought to the team at SCHiCK Group in Bad Kissingen, arriving in our training van for a hands-on session focused on our TOPEC formwork system. Key topics included the use of TOP'UP as an assembly aid for forming and stripping, proper use of the TOPEC edge support, and new accessories: TOP’START shoring bracket, and panel safety profile.

Thanks to the SCHiCK team for the open exchange – it was a great session, as always. This is exactly the kind of collaboration that makes the difference. Looking forward to many more projects together! 🤝

Formwork for 4,500 m² of ceiling – every move counts. For the ‘grEEn campus’ construction project in Rüsselsheim, we used TOPEC and TOPMAX precisely for this purpose. This is where Opel’s new global headquarters and the German headquarters of its parent company, Stellantis, are being built. 🏢

Our role in the project: a slab formwork system that keeps pace with the tight schedule and simplifies processes rather than complicating them. To achieve this, we opted for a ‘table-on-table’ construction for the two-storey structure.

What this means:
• A second, continuous working surface thanks to the double-deck table construction
• No additional support systems required despite the great heights, as two ceiling slabs are stacked on top of one another
• Fewer crane lifts thanks to the coupled table assembly: up to 39 m² in a single lift (3 TOPMAX tables coupled)
• Minimal need for fitting surfaces thanks to the TOPEC adjustment panel

And ultimately, it’s not just the system that counts, but the teamwork: collaborative partnership, reliable support from sales and technical teams, and a result that satisfies the customer. 🤝🙌

Renovating a bridge whilst around 7,000 vehicles and thousands of pedestrians cross it every day – that was the challenge at Pont de Corneille in Rouen.

Pont de Corneille spans the river Seine in the French city of Rouen. Named after the poet Pierre Corneille, who was born there, it has been a key transport link in Rouen since 1952. It is 288 metres long and 28 metres wide.

During the maintenance works, which included a new protective paint coating, the bridge remained open to traffic at all times. Work on the underside was carried out despite fluctuating water levels of the Seine.

🔹 Around 4,600 m² of QuikDeck platforms provided the required working area. The platforms were designed as a cantilevered structure, clearly separating the work area from traffic. This meant that both sections could be used independently throughout the renovation.
🔹 150 tonnes of MODEX scaffolding and five ST’AIR towers provided access to all work areas.
