Automobili Lamborghini und Technics präsentieren den neuen Plattenspieler SL-1200M7B - eine Sonderedition inkl. eines exklusiven Geschenks in Form einer Picture Disc, die eigens für dieses Projekt aufgenommen wurde. Sie gibt den kraftvollen Motorsound von sechs V12-Supersportwagen der Marke Lamborghini wieder. Zusätzlich zur Schallplatte sind eine Slipmat und Sticker mit exklusivem Design im Lieferumfang enthalten. Während die Funktionen des Technics for Automobili Lamborghini Plattenspielers SL-1200M7B mit Direktantrieb auf den Modellen SL-1200MK7/SL-1210MK7 basieren, ist das Design von Lamborghinis kultigem Y-Motiv inspiriert. In Anlehnung an die legendärsten Lackierungen der Supersportwagen des italienischen Automobilherstellers, strahlt der SL-1200M7B in den Farben Orange, Grün und Gelb.

Der weltweite Verkauf des Plattenspielers startet im Juli 2024 ausschließlich über autorisierte Technics-Vertriebskanäle und in ausgewählten Geschäften.

TECHNICS SL-1200M7L
Limited special edition for the 50th anniversary

It's 1972 and TECHNICS releases the SL-1200, the ultimate DJ turntable, setting the worldwide club standard. Even today, the 1200 can still be found in many clubs. In the meantime, a successor to the classic has been on the market for three years as the "MK7" version.

For the 50th anniversary (1972-2022), a limited special edition based on the MK7 is now released in seven colors (black, white, beige, yellow, green, blue, red).

With its golden anodized tonearm, its special slipmat with golden TECHNICS logo, a vinyl sticker in the color of the model and a plaque with engraved serial number, the turntable, limited to 12000 pieces worldwide (per color), is a real gem.

The new models are expected to be available from mid-May. Pre-ordering is recommended due to the high demand.

Many have been waiting for this! The Japanese manufacturer Oyade expands the existing cable range with a specially shielded RCA-RCA cable plus separate grounding for turntables.

Sennheiser sells its consumer division to the Swiss company Sonova. Pro Audio and Business Communications will remain with Sennheiser.

Sonova is considered a specialist for medical hearing solutions (hearing aids, implants, noise cancelling technology). Thus, Sennheiser has found an ideal buyer who "...will strengthen the Sennheiser consumer business in the long term and exploit the major growth opportunities."

DJ headphones, e.g. HD-25, microphones, wireless communication systems and the recording sector will remain in the hands of the German family-owned company. Furthermore, Sennheiser will retain Pro Audio, Business Communications and the Neumann brand. With the new focus, the company sees great potential for growth.
