Our latest team event at Becker Mining Europe was all about the perfect coffee. We swapped our desks for portafilters and took a professional barista course. 🧑‍🍳✨

From the right theory to proper grinding and tamping, all the way to the supreme discipline of latte art – our team did a fantastic job and learned a lot of new things. It wasn't just delicious, it was also a great team-building day!

From May 26 to 28, 2026, Andreas Scheid, Head of Sales at Becker Mining Europe GmbH, Maximillian Becker, CEO of Becker Mining Europe GmbH, and Leon Klein, Sales Representative at Becker Mining Sweden AB, attended the Euro Mine Expo in Skellefteå – one of the most important trade fairs for the European mining industry.

The event clearly demonstrated that the future of mining is being shaped by electrification, automation, and digitalization. Numerous presentations and discussions highlighted the pace of technological transformation within the industry and the opportunities it creates for modern mining operations.

It was particularly interesting for us to see how closely the future-focused topics of the exhibition align with Becker Mining’s core areas of expertise. Topics such as the electrification of underground operations, reliable communication infrastructure, personnel safety, energy efficiency, and the intelligent networking of machines and processes are at the heart of the industry’s ongoing development. A particular highlight was the exchange of ideas on the use of AI in mining and the growing importance of data-driven solutions in daily operations.

Alongside the technical insights, personal interaction was a key focus of the event. We were delighted to welcome numerous existing customers and partners to our booth while also establishing many new connections. The high visitor turnout and positive atmosphere made this largest-ever Euro Mine Expo a truly successful event.

Another highlight was our “Beyond the Booth” Mingle at Bishops Arms. Away from the hustle and bustle of the exhibition floor, the event provided an excellent opportunity to continue conversations and connect with customers and partners in a relaxed setting. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so memorable.

We would also like to thank the organizers of the Euro Mine Expo for their outstanding organization and for creating valuable opportunities for exchange and collaboration within the mining industry.

Becker Mining Systems at Hillhead Quarry 2026

From June 23 to 25, 2026, we will be attending Hillhead Quarry 2026 at Tarmac near Buxton, Derbyshire, United Kingdom. As the UK’s largest trade fair for quarrying, construction, and recycling technology, the event brings together leading companies, experts, and decision-makers from the industry every two years at an active quarry.

Hillhead Quarry offers a comprehensive look at current developments, innovative technologies, modern equipment, and forward-looking service and system solutions. It serves as a vital platform for identifying trends early on and actively shaping the industry’s technological transformation.

For Becker Mining Systems, this visit is a valuable opportunity to further expand existing partnerships, establish new contacts, and exchange ideas with international industry experts on the challenges and opportunities of the future.

🏃‍♂️ Firmenlauf Saarbrücken 2026 – Becker Mining Systems was there! 🏃‍♀️

On June 2, 2026, 20 motivated colleagues took part in the company run through Saarbrücken, the capital of the Saarland. The 5 km route passed by the State Theater and along the Saar River, among other landmarks—with pleasant temperatures and ideal running conditions.

Together with over 10,000 participants, the city center once again became a true running spectacle filled with team spirit and a great atmosphere.

Particularly strong performers for Becker Mining Systems:
🥇 Felix Schillo – 20:14 minutes (263rd place)
🥈 Tim Benoit – 20:50 minutes (389th place)
🥉 Chungmin Kim – 21:15 minutes (483rd place)

Shortly after we crossed the finish line, however, we were surprised by a heavy downpour—so we quickly turned our tent into a gathering spot. After about half an hour, though, the sun came out again, and we were able to wind down the evening in a relaxed atmosphere with live music.

Congratulations to all participants, and of course, a big thank you to all our colleagues who were there to cheer us on. 👏
