Promote sustainability and AI innovation in industrial production!
Our posts about recent workshops in the Partnering in Business with Germany program are still coming! Stay tuned for more updates.
On October 17, our participants had the unique opportunity to dive into two transformative workshops focused on sustainability and digital innovation in industrial processes.
Workshop 1: Sustainability and Efficiency in Copper Production
Hosted by Aurubis AG, the industry leader in energy-efficient copper processing, this session offered insights into Aurubis's cutting-edge sustainability initiatives. Led by Thomas Engels, Martin Albrecht, and Bastian Bergholz, we explored:
How Aurubis reduces the carbon footprint in copper production through advanced technology.
Challenges and opportunities in collaborating with international mine operators for sustainable raw material sourcing.
Innovations planned over the next five years to boost efficiency and environmental impact.
Workshop 2: AI for Production Optimization with Castalytics
In our second session, Bernd Kratz, CEO and Founder of Castalytics, introduced participants to the power of AI in production optimization, especially in the mining sector. We learned about:
The potential of big data and AI in refining production processes.
Castalytics's AI service platform, designed to enhance efficiency through self-learning algorithms and data management.
As a training center and proud BMWK partner, we’re committed to driving sustainability and digital advancement in industrial sectors, providing our participants with hands-on knowledge and practical tools for global impact.
