Rethinking flexible packaging starts with the right ink technology.
Nitrocellulose (NC)-based inks are widely used in packaging for their fast-drying properties and vibrant finishes. However, they can create challenges for recycling — especially in polyolefin-based structures such as PE and PP — and may lead to thermal instability, discoloration, odor, and reduced material quality during the recycling process.

500 days without lost-time accidents: a milestone built by everyone!

A significant milestone has been achieved at Siegwerk Brazil: 500 days without lost-time accidents at our Diadema facility.

This accomplishment is the result of a strong Safety Culture built through daily commitment, collaboration, and shared responsibility. Every safe behavior, every risk identified, and every proactive action has played a role in reaching this goal.

But safety is more than a milestone. It is a mindset, a value, and a commitment we renew every day!

Thank you to all employees for helping create a safer workplace and for demonstrating that caring for ourselves and each other is the foundation of sustainable success.

We're proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of our new warehouse expansion in Des Moines, Iowa - another important step in strengthening our footprint across the United States.
As part of our FORMULA 2030 strategy, we continue to invest in capacity, operational excellence, and customer support to stay well positioned for future growth. The new facility expands our storage capabilities and increases flexibility, helping us meet evolving customer needs in the flexible packaging market.
Together with our ongoing investments in Morganton, North Carolina, this project reflects our long-term commitment to the North American market - and our ambition to create even greater value for our customers through a resilient, future-ready supply network.

Corporate social responsibility and community engagement have been part of Siegwerk's values for many years. Through our long-standing global partnership with SOS Children’s Villages worldwide, we have provided financial and hands-on sponsorship to children and young people around the world. Today, Siegwerk Büdingen is excited to take this commitment further by collaborating locally with SOS Children’s Village Frankfurt in Germany.

Following inspiring initial discussions with the team at the Children & Youth residential community in Niedernhausen, the Siegwerk Büdingen team is planning and launching the first joint activities, which will take place later this year. The goal is to create meaningful engagement opportunities, support local initiatives and make a positive difference to the lives of children in need in the region. The Siegwerk team in Büdingen looks forward to building a strong, lasting partnership and sharing updates on their upcoming activities.
