Hello Customers!

We have to announce, AGAIN, that we really need the users of the BRC to read the signs and listen to the BRC monitors.

The bulk trash container is for BULK ONLY.

No cardboard, no plastic foil, no dishes, no clothes, no shoes. Due to many users intentionally throwing wrong items into containers we spent more time having to sort it out and if not possible, face penalty charges. Currently the bulk container remains unavailable.

It should be available at some point next week.
We will keep more eyes on this issue and will have to report to Security Forces at this point.

Good day!!!!!!!!!

Before we get even more messages asking for our hours which are posted at the top of our page.....

Please be aware that we have new hours, again, starting next week.

MO - WE - FR 0730 - 1330
TU - TH 1230 - 1830

PA will announce the hours via E-mail and the signs will be update.

On another note:
Please be in support of our operation by not dumping items into wrong bins. Our Airmen are busy with fixing that which takes away time for helping customers.

Bulk trash is for big items, not your refuse, shoes or items belonging in a different bin.

Batteries DO NOT belong in either the Metal nor the Electronic bin.
We do have a HAZ Waste section.
Please talk to our volunteer for help.

Due to multiple bad occasions in the last weeks we may only allow 2 customers in the yard at a time to prevent the "convinient" dumping in wrong bins.

Happy sunday!

We would like to take the chance to thank our volunteers for the past few weeks of manning the Spangdahlem Base Recycling Center!

Please help us in supporting them to support the base population by sticking to the signs.
For example: Bulk Only / no cardboard means:
Don't throw your shoes in this container.
Don't throw cardboard boxes in there.
Bulk is for big items.

Pulling wrong items out of containers is no joy and it does limit the volunteer's time to help customers.

Hello.

We would like to remind our customers to please not leave Refuse or other items next to, or in between containers when the trash is either not accepted or the bin currently unavailable.

Regular mixed trash is still not accepted and should be disposed in your grey bin at home. If the bin does not fit your needs, please contact your landlord to have it replaced by a larger one.
