Looking at these challenges it is hardly surprising that in a survey of Fortune 500 companies, 85% of CEOs stated that they do not think that they have an adequate number of global leaders and more than 65% believe that their existing leaders need to acquire more skills and knowledge before they can meet or exceed the challenge of global leadership (GLOBE research project)

We work in cooperation with your Learning & Development team to develop customized Training and Workshops for your team. Through in-house Training & Workshops we bring our talent to yours, meaning our experts work with your team in your conference room or training facility. Should a sufficiently equipped meeting room be unavailable our coordination team can locate a suitable training venue. Coaching
TEC Leadership Institute provides support to our clients in the area of Leadership Competence, Cross-Cultural Competence, Communication Competence, Management Competence, Diversity Management, Team-Building and Coaching. While we conduct a variety of workshops and training, TEC is also very much a Coaching Company. Consulting

How do I build self-awareness as a leader?

Even though self-awareness - knowing who we are and how others see us - is known to be essential for leadership effectiveness, it’s in short supply in today’s workplace. Research has found that although 95% of people think they’re self-aware, only 10% to 15% actually are.

When we have the intention to be more self-aware, we need to engage in deliberate practice to build self-awareness. Here are some ways we can cultivate self-awareness in ourselves and our leadership practice. But beware, deliberate practice to cultivate self-awareness needs real commitment, clarity on the goals, discipline, humility and time and space for reflection and growth.
