NO additional water or tea for babies under 6 months!

Even if the temperatures are high babies under the age of 6 months do NOT need any additional fluids. Breastmilk and/or formula are sufficient. Most breastfeed babies want drink more often but shorter and you can offer your formula feed baby little amounts of formula (PRE) more often, too.
Additional water can mess with the water mineral balance and as the kidneys of your little one are not matured enough, they cannot get rid of the additional water fast enough.
Worst case this could result in severe health problems.

Over the age of 6 months (if you started solids) you can just give more breastmilk and PRE formula as well, but also introduce some water.

Child safety is essential. Babies and toddlers are said to be the highest risk group of serious accidents.
In Germany, approx. 80% of all accidents with toddlers under 2 years happen at home.
Experts estimate that parents could easily avoid up to 60% of these accidents being more informed and sensitized.
