This magnificent building;
city is the only detached building located in the Fort Greene Historic District!
Designed by its architect Edward Kendall in 1878 in the Roman Palozzo style, this house reveals a pure Italian style building.
This opulent, stylish 3-storey building looks stunning, the details of which are designed in a simple, clear style😍
With its windows lined up like a well-proportioned battalion of soldiers, double doors placed under a glass transom, and exquisite wrought iron covers covering the windows, it stands before me as a work that takes me away from me.
I could watch this building for hours.
Every time I look at it, I notice another beautiful detail.
It leaves a deep impression on me with its exterior doors, interior stained glass decorations, woodwork on the interior floors, clear rectangular window sills, simple yet impressive, paired with centuries-old wrought iron railings.
I love simple and clear designs.😍💞
I also pursue this effect in my own designs.
I hope that one day I can leave behind a work that has such an impact.
