🌱 ABK Earth Day 2026

On April 22nd, the Kunstakademie Stuttgart hosts the third edition of ABK Earth Day at the Weißenhof Campus — a day of student-led actions and projects raising environmental awareness at the academy.
This year, the doors are open to the public. We're thrilled to be part of the programme with a talk by Axel Scheufelen on the role of sustainability in paper.

The book »Cooperative Conditions« (published by gta Verlag) impresses not only with its content, but also with its unusual choice of materials and design. Printed in offset at DZA Druckerei zu Altenburg GmbH on Lessebo Design Rough White 120 gsm, a Swedish uncoated paper known for its velvety surface and high environmental friendliness, it conveys a sense of quality and sustainability through its feel alone.

The cover design uses Lessebo Design Rough Natural 240 gsm, which creates an elegant yet understated presence with its warm tone and robust structure.

»Cooperative Conditions« was awarded the Bruno Kreisky Prize for Political Books, which honours works that promote social justice, democracy and human rights. The book thus stands for a certain attitude not only in terms of content but also in terms of design: conscious, clear and uncompromisingly high quality.

We had yet another great collaboration with Slanted Publishers : Magazine #45—Sex

The issue highlights how body politics and identity are portrayed in the media and questions stereotypical or missing representations of marginalised bodies. Provocative visuals and diverse stories create a multi-layered dialogue about belonging. The cover and exclusive art prints are by Guillaume Kashima.

In addition to the diverse content, the high-quality production is also impressive: printed by Medien on EXTRAMATT RECYCLING and ROUGH AIR for the inside, a CHROMO cover with cellophane-coated linen texture and a thread-stitched swiss brochure.

A reason to celebrate! VfB Stuttgart has published an official photobook commemorating its DFB Cup victory. The 192-page book captures the most memorable moments surrounding this historic success – from the days leading up to the final to the final itself, the celebrations in Berlin and the reception in Stuttgart.

Printed on sustainable ROUGH 1.3 from Lessebo Paper AB at Druckhaus Stil und Find, elegantly bound in a Swiss brochure with partial UV varnish on the cover, it is designed to be a lasting reminder of the triumph.

The illustrated book is available from the official VfB shop.
