Take a look at our sheep this morning. This is a lesson on resilience. Lying calmly on a snow-covered meadow while cold winds sweep across the field. The landscape is harsh, the air biting, the ground frozen- yet the sheep appears untroubled, resting with quiet composure. Trust in its environment replaces panic. The sheep, by the way it’s Lieselotte, whom we are talking about, does not fight the storm, nor does it flee from every gust. It adjusts, endures, and remains grounded. Wished this skill to apply it more often by myself. Calm under strain is not weakness but regulated energy. Remember my grandfather who already taught us that resilience is less about eliminating hardship and more about developing the capacity to remain centred within it…. Ok, enough on the early morning reflection in looking at a sheep during offsite in the countryside, in the middle of nature
