One year ago at , the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Mine Solar and BESS Project was still a blueprint. A bold vision on paper. We shook hands, aligned ambitions, and committed to delivering one of Africa's most ambitious solar and battery storage projects for the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Mining Complex.

Today, we're back at Intersolar 2026 and the conversation has changed.

The Kamoa-Kakula Copper Mine Solar and BESS Project is now in its final stages of completion, transforming plans into infrastructure and ambition into clean, reliable energy.

Projects like these don't begin with infrastructure. They begin with conversations. With partnerships. With a shared belief that bold ideas can become reality.

At the Kamoa-Kakula Solar/BESS Baseload Project, installation works are now largely complete, and the project is moving into its final commissioning phase.

One Room. One Vision. One Focus…

Africa’s Energy Future.

More than 300 participants, including policymakers, industry leaders, and distinguished diplomats from , , Côte d’Ivoire, and beyond, gathered in one place for a high-level dialogue centered on one shared priority: building the energy systems Africa needs for sustainable growth.

Across the discussions, a consistent message emerged energy infrastructure is the foundation of industrial development, economic resilience, and long-term transformation across the continent.

For Soventix, the event also provided an opportunity to reflect on our journey. With over ten years of active engagement in Nigeria, our COO Tobias Friedrich shared insights drawn from deep market experience, highlighting the opportunities, challenges, and lessons that continue to shape our approach to energy infrastructure development in the region.

Beyond the speeches and perspectives, what stood out most was the alignment in vision: collaboration between governments, private sector players, and development partners is essential to turning ambition into impact.

What matters now is sustained ex*****on and real partnership on the ground.

At Soventix GmbH - Germany, we have maintained a permanent presence in Lagos for nearly nine years.

This local foundation has enabled us to develop and support utility-scale solar and battery storage projects across with consistency and care.

We are looking for a professional who will take ownership of core financial accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, payment processing, VAT and tax reporting, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB). The role also involves supporting audits, liaising with tax advisors and authorities, and contributing to efficient financial operations across the business.
