A huge success for Vision and Materna IPS at the coveted Group Innovator 2019.

In the category "Dare to try!" the innovative biometric self bag drop won an award. MODI Vision & Materna IPS worked in with Lufthansa and the US authorities on the automated . In the Lufthansa pilot project, the manual at the self-service baggage kiosks will be replaced by an automated biometric ID control in order to improve and increase the .

The Lufthansa Group Innovator Award is presented every year to the best and is an of oriented technologies. More than 10,000 Lufthansa employees took part in the vote to determine the of the 150 submitted projects. All members of the management also voted as the "Top Jury". Six categories received the coveted Lufthansa Group Innovator Award, including the "Biometric Identification" in the "Dare to try" .

After months of discussions between MODI and TOPPAN LEEFUNG PTE LTD, both companies have worked on different biometric .

The most recent news is that both and have reached an agreement and have started to set a plan for , , and clients.

In the last two months, we have worked on delivering different and solutions to Toppan, so they could use and present them to their . At the same time Toppan was working on preparing a at their HQ in Singapore, so we could send a team to train Toppan’s technical and help them with the very first installation. Making the most of having MODI team on spot in , important meetings with key clients were organized. This was the perfect opportunity to show what together could deliver!
