💚 How does one create a supportive system for employees at a company?

👩‍💼 In our interview with our long-standing HR Expert Rachel Ascaño, she sits down with us to talk about her humble career beginnings, growth in INVENSITY’s HR department, motivations for doing well, and advice for those looking to work in her field.

If you want to know where Rachel draws her motivation, here’s what she has to say from the article:

🌠 “When I work with competent and talented people, I’m pushed to constantly improve. I feel a sense of perfectionism not just from our technical consultants but also other departments…. Everyone has high standards and there’s a direction they’re moving towards that they want me to know about.”

🌱 Happy 10th Work Anniversary, Eugen Lindt!

⚙️ Your impact in the field of systems engineering can be felt in the wide range of projects you have contributed to across critical industries such as automotive and rail. From quality engineering and management to requirements engineering, safety management, ASPICE, and functional safety, you showed up bringing your expertise and drive throughout it all.

🙋 At one point in your career, you were entrusted with the role of being the Head of our Quality Department, where you became responsible for driving our internal quality management system and successfully maintaining our ISO certifications. You were also part of a testing project that equal parts intense as it was fun, working alongside colleagues from Germany, Barcelona, and Detroit. In short, your journey showed not only your expertise depth but also the trust you earned across teams, departments, and locations.

🤖 Moving forward in your career, you are now part of the development of an on-premises AI functionality with our colleagues. Responsible for the application’s GUI, you will be ensuring that our clients will have a seamless experience with a tool that can generate results in a better, quicker, and cheaper way.

⭐ For career starters, your message is clear: leverage AI to empower your daily work but never underestimate the 'human in the loop'. AI is a powerful assistant, yet it is human intuition, domain expertise, and continuous learning that truly drive innovation. Keep investing in your personal development, because your unique judgment will always be the deciding factor.

🎉 Congratulations on this milestone, and we’re excited to see you fully realize your potential!

🚀 Can AI be more than just an output generator for the regular worker? Our team says yes!

👨‍💼 On June 26, our colleagues hosted a VDI Entrepreneur’s Forum at INVENSITY headquarters in Wiesbaden. Our Head of IT Daniel Pfeifer held a keynote on how organization members can effectively use AI in their knowledge and skills development.

💡 A main highlight from the event was presenting our new requirements automation tool. The tool aims to help companies automate their requirements management, streamline processes, and sustainably improve the quality of results.

👏 Our heartfelt thanks go to all the participants for their open discussions and valuable insights. Many thanks as well to the event organizers, namely Orhan Bagci Volker Lippitz, Jan Zutter, and keynote speaker Daniel Pfeifer, for the successful event run. Finally, thank you to the VDI partners Tecmata, Tetronik, Econopak, RMD Rhein-Main Deponie GmbH, and VDI Verein Deutscher Ingenieure for your support.

We are looking forward to the next Entrepreneurs’ Forum. To all supporting members, let’s have more opportunities to network, discuss, and shape the future!

🙌 Who deserves a high five? The five new colleagues in our team for Q2!

For the second quarter of 2026, we welcomed a new set of colleagues from Manila, Munich, and Wiesbaden.

📍 Manila: Joining us is our new Graphic Designer, Belle Salvador. Belle is responsible for many of our creative outputs, ensuring that designs are aligned with our organization’s identity, mission and values.

📍 Munich: We brought in Colin Billhardt, Dr. Julian Schwierzy, and Nicholas Helmer. Colin is part of the M&A team, bringing his Computer Science and Data Science expertise for their technical advisory. Julian is also a part of the M&A team and brings in experience as a co-founder of a medical technology startup. Finally, Nicholas is a mechanical engineer with experience in manufacturing, logistics, and more.

📍 Wiesbaden: We have Vinthusan Vivekanantharasa. Vinthusan is a member of the Systems Engineering department with a background in mechatronics.

🌱 To our new consultants, we hope to see you grow into your respective roles and make meaningful impact for our most important stakeholders. Here’s to an exciting journey ahead!

🧗 What if the key to more freedom at work is actually taking on more responsibility?

☯️ It sounds counterintuitive. Theoretically, the more you're held accountable, the less room you have to move. But in practice, the relationship between these two values runs in the same direction. Being responsible for your actions means owning your decisions and their outcomes. That ownership is what will build the trust that, over time, unlocks greater autonomy.

🤼‍♂️ However, the problems surface when you’re trying to value one over the other. When you're held accountable for outcomes you had no hand in shaping, you can get burnt out. On the other hand, embodying freedom without responsibility can erode your team’s trust in you.

🙋‍♀️ A practical way to break that cycle is to shift the question you bring to your work. Instead of asking, "What am I allowed to do here?", ask "What can I take ownership of here?" That small reframe is what opens the door to greater autonomy, because it signals to others that you're ready to be trusted with projects and new initiatives.

If you can balance these two values, you will be able to influence important outcomes and make meaningful contributions, rather than just carrying out simple tasks.

🌱 At INVENSITY, responsibility and freedom aren't competing values, they reinforce each other. We give our colleagues the trust and space to own their work, because we know that meaningful contribution starts with meaningful accountability.

🌱 Happy 10th Work Anniversary, Dr. Fabian Ziegler!

🧑‍🏫 Starting out in academia and then moving to consulting, you got the best of both worlds: the scientific rigor of university research and the ability to adapt your communication to every stakeholder you encounter. The result is a blend where your technical expertise and business acumen don’t just coexist but genuinely complement each other.

🚀 Such a blend can be seen when you bring and lead big projects, including the first projects of the Manila and Barcelona offices, as well as INVENSITY’s contribution to the SALSA Projekt. Moreover, your belief in our colleagues’ potential encouraged them to have their own big endeavors, like starting new departments and assuming key roles. All these and more make you an important role model to the team.

💡 For the future, you envision the next generation of consultants to be to just as data driven as they are deeply human. As the world becomes more highly automated, you want their hearts to be set on building trust, creating value, being fully in the present, and bringing their A-game to everything they do.

🎉 Congratulations on this milestone, and we’ll be here to root for you every step of the way!

🌱 Happy 10th Work Anniversary, Erik Hänel!

💡As a free spirit yourself, you saw our company as a place where you can truly grow. Your humble beginnings started on an OEM project related to devices and software quality. Although you encountered some challenges in this first project, you learned the importance of always delivering high-quality work. This lesson stayed with you throughout every project you handled, big or small, and became the foundation of your success.

🌟 One of your major achievements was starting a new department in 2020: Analytics & Sensorics. While it’s now integrated into the Software & Data Technologies department, you saw the opportunity to fill a gap in what our current and potential clients needed at the time. The journey to leadership was somewhat new to you, but you understood the importance of stepping up and making things happen.

🙌 To those who are just starting out in their careers, your advice to them is to get their hands dirty, try things out for themselves, and believe in their own capabilities. Experiencing this for yourself, trial and error became your best friend, and you hope the same for every career starter out there.

🎉 Congratulations on this milestone, and we’re happy to continue seeing your greatness expand further!
