We had a brilliant time at our latest team event! ☀️👋

Our Customer Support, Sales and Office Management teams got together on the rooftop terrace for a barbecue 🍔🔥. To top it off, we also baked a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies 🍪.

It was a great chance to catch up, chat and enjoy some good food outside of our usual daily routines. Thanks to everyone who joined in! 🙌

Last week, we levelled up! 🌍

At a global company like Yalwa, understanding each other is more than just a skill - it’s our greatest strength. Our team recently took part in a half-day deep dive into intercultural competence and business etiquette. 🤝✨

During the session, we explored the nuances of German business manners, the art of seamless small talk and modern etiquette for both face-to-face and digital formats.

One of our favourite moments? The "Cultural Artefact" session. We each brought an object symbolising our heritage and traditions, which sparked wonderful conversations about the diverse backgrounds that shape our team.

A shared lunch was also an integral part of the day, allowing us to put our new knowledge of business etiquette and table manners into practice in a relaxed atmosphere.

We’re heading into the rest of the month with fresh perspectives, better communication skills and even stronger team connections! 🚀

It turns out the best way to switch off after work is by trying something new with the team. 🎨🍣

We spent some time away from our screens this week for our latest team events! 🙌

Our HR team headed to a reformer pilates class for a good stretch 🤸, followed by some sushi for dinner.

Over in Finance, we spent the afternoon at a acrylic painting course 👨‍🎨, where everyone got to have a go at being a bit more creative. Special thanks to .

It was a lovely way to catch up and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed setting. There’s nothing like a bit of downtime and some good food to keep the team spirit high! ✨

As of today, we are officially relocating our headquarters to Mars. The rent might be astronomical, but the view is out of this world! 🌌

April Fools! 😉 To be honest, we love Wiesbaden way too much to trade it for the Red Planet. But our spirit remains galactic: we’re shifting into high gear across all our projects, pushing everything to the next level. 🚀

For us, growth isn’t measured in light-years, but in how much our team enjoys being right here. 🫶

While our office remains a "pet-free zone", these loyal companions are the true MVPs of our remote work days. They are the best listeners during calls, expert stress-relievers and the occasional stars of our video meetings. ☕️💻

Cakes for a good cause! 😋

Our office was transformed into a true paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth last week, thanks to our latest bake sale. 🍰
It feels wonderful that our shared love of cake has helped us raise a significant donation for the organisation Löwenmut. 🦁

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our fantastic baking elves, as well as everyone who donated and participated so enthusiastically. 👏
Together, we’ve shown how much of a difference we can make – and that helping others tastes absolutely delicious! ❤️

Alpine vibes and mountain snacks at Yalwa 🥨

Turns out, the best way to end the workday isn't by rushing home - it’s with a bit of "Hüttenzauber" and a lot of good food! 🏔️

We gathered in the early evening for some drinks and snacks as we wound down from the day. We then moved on to some seriously tasty Käsespätzle, followed by a classic Kaiserschmarrn to finish things off. 🧀🥞

It was a great evening spent chatting, eating, and enjoying each other's company after the work was done. There’s nothing like a hearty meal and a relaxed atmosphere to keep the team spirit high! ✨
