Aller Aqua produce fish feed for freshwater and saltwater aquaculture. That is the brief presentation, but it doesn’t even come close to covering the entire story. Aller Aqua is a family owned company with roots tracing back more than a thousand years. We have produced fish feed for 60 years, and this makes us one of the worlds most experienced fish feed producers, delivering some of the best prod

ucts on the market, to our customers. Today Aller Aqua has factories in Denmark, Poland, Germany, Egypt, China, Zambia and Serbia, and we export our products to more than 70 countries worldwide. We have a broad and professional product range, consisting of feed for 30 species of fish. We know the importance the right feed plays in our customers production, and therefore our own professional development- and research centre in Germany, Aller Aqua Research, consistently works on optimizing, developing and documenting the effect of our products. This ensures that our customers receive top-quality professional products, at competitive prices – delivered on time. Changing tides in aquaculture in France and Spain

Two of the largest markets in European aquaculture are undergoing profound change.

A new generation of fish farmers is taking over, and they not only wish to address climate change and water shortages head-on. They are also eager to meet rising consumers’ demands for more transparency and more sustainable food.

Aquaculture producers in Europe have an advantage. They have quick and easy access to certified organic feed.

This is essential for you as a farmer if you wish to achieve an organic certification. To apply for such a certification, you are required to provide documented compliance throughout your entire production process, including all the feed you use; from hatch to harvest.

At Aller Aqua, biologists and feed specialists are continuously developing and refining optimal feeds for a variety of species. For species such as Atlantic salmon, Rainbow trout, Meagre, Sea bass, and Sea bream, organic feed formulations are already available.

According to Halvard Hovland, CPO at Havland, the industry has spent too long talking about marine fish feed rather than focusing on the needs of individual species.
