KOM DU IKKE IND?

Når livet tager en uventet drejning, er det bare et tegn på, at der er endnu større eventyr i vente! Til dig, der i dag har modtaget et brev om, at du ikke kom ind på dit drømmestudie, vil vi sige: Lad ikke dette øjeblik definere jer. Det er kun begyndelsen på din utrolige rejse! 🚀

Vi ved, at det kan være svært at håndtere skuffelsen, men husk, at hver "hindring" er en mulighed for vækst og selvopdagelse. Måske er det tid til at tage et skridt tilbage og se på alle de andre fantastiske muligheder, der er derude 💪

Måske er det et signal om at udforske andre interesser og passioner, der kunne føre dig mod en endnu mere givende og opfyldende karrierevej. Lad dig ikke begrænse af én afvisning. Se det som en chance for at tage styringen over din egen skæbne og udforske forskellige veje.

Hvis du føler dig lidt fortabt og har brug for vejledning, så tøv ikke med at række ud. Der er mennesker omkring dig, der gerne vil støtte dig og hjælpe dig med at finde din rette vej. Måske karriererådgivning eller en mentorordning vil være et godt valg for dig.

Everyone feels sad sometimes. Sadness is a natural part of being human. Some of us spend so much time avoiding it that, when we finally do allow it, it all comes flooding out. And then usually afterwards we feel better. We live in a modern culture that mostly sees sadness as a negative, but if we don’t allow ourselves to feel the whole spectrum of human emotions, we also shut down our capacity for feeling the good along with the bad. It can create pent-up frustrations and take us further out of our bodies and into stress.

Being sad also has positive attributes that can be helpful when we allow it in a supported way. Feeling sadness can help us be strong in the face of adversity. Sadness allows for a much-needed rest and is a time when our body and mind tell us to regain our strength. When we allow the sadness, we actually let ourselves get stronger.

When we allow ourselves to feel sadness, rather than shut it out, we move through it more quickly than if we stuff it down. That way it will usually just come back at another time, and you will have to deal with it again – rather than just be present with it the first time.

Sadness also teaches us to adapt – to all of life’s circumstances. It teaches us resiliency and it connects us with other people. Sadness is a vulnerable emotional state, and when we share it with others, we form bonds that invoke their sympathy. In turn, it can deepen our interactions and make us more compassionate people.

There is nothing to be afraid of when it comes to being sad, but if it might also be difficult to deal with. Some of the tools that can be helpful in moving through sadness is to process our emotions through journaling, practice meditation or mindfulness, talk to someone trusted who can support you, engage in comforting self-care activities and lastly, give it time. Be kind to yourself and let yourself be, with the full human spectrum. When you can hold yourself in the hard times, you build resiliency to keep pursuing your dreams in the good times.

Virkelig vigtigt emne om børn der misforståes.

Fordi : Alt alt for mange succesfulde kompetente voksne , kæmper med skygger der spænder ben for dem i deres professionelle virke.
Efter oplevelser af at blive misforstået som barn og ung.
På grund af gamle indgroede reaktionsmønstre og logikker Spænder den slags oplevelser fra barndom og ungdom stadig ben ind i voksenlivet.

Der ER værktøjer til at blive “ven med det der ” spænder ben”- ja i nogen sammenhænge saboterer ellers gode karrierer.
Uden at det behøver at kræver årelang terapi.
Det kræver en god businesscoach der kender psykologien bag. Der er ikke noget bedre ved mit job end at se et menneske opnå mental frihed efter ridser i lakken fra barndommen.

MEN BEDST ER DET hvis vi fra nu af
sammen forebygger og kun fremelsker videbegærlige børn og unge der fuld af selvtillid tror på at de kan alt.

Barnets grin i alvorlige situationer er en frygt -grimasse og barnets måde at beskytte sig selv.

Kender du også de børn/unge, der griner imens du skælder dem ud, eller imens du forsøger, at få dem til at forstå alvoren af en situation?

Den adfærd kan trigge mange voksne, men svaret på barnets reaktion kan faktisk ofte findes, i vores mest primitive reaktionsmønstre.

Ifølge adjunkt på Institut for psykologi ved SDU
Jill Byrnit er svaret ganske enkelt:

»Det er, fordi smilet fra naturens side faktisk er en frygt-grimasse, der signalerer underkastelse,«

Når barnet bliver korrigeret eller skældt ud, vækker det nervøsitet og usikkerhed hos barnet.
Den voksnes alvor kan, ubevidst, virke som en personlig trussel, der rammer barnet på selvværdet og for at beskytte sig selv kommer barnet rent instinktivt til at grine.

Så næste gang et barn griner dig op i ansigtet på et upassende tidspunkt, så stop op og tænk over hvordan du med din tilgang, kan skabe tryghed hos barnet. Og husk der er lukket ned for læring når barnet er i affekt. Her er kun kamp, flugt, og freeze reaktioner på spil.

One of the most powerful tools to develop for success is the ability to cultivate a growth mindset – the ability to move out of a fixed mindset to unlock more of your potential. With this type of mindset, leaders can see obstacles as opportunities, rather than something to be feared, ignored, or completely avoided. This is important – to stay flexible, to be able to bounce back from setbacks or perceived failures and thinking creatively to uncover your next step.

The most effective leaders and achievers have developed this skill, so when challenges occurred, they didn’t perceive them as impossible roadblocks. Instead, they looked for growth opportunities for their business, product, or team.

They had the belief that their efforts and those of other people around them will lead to success in business, regardless of whether the going gets tough. A growth mindset allows you to see the opportunities, not just the setbacks. Because with a growth mindset, we know we can overcome those setbacks, and it will not stop us from achieving success or rising above to the next level.

As a leader we often become the trusted person for our employees. Not only about professional matters but also about private matters.
It’s important to be aware… if you start feeling resentment, built-up frustration, and bitterness, it might be a sign that you have been trusted person too much – more than the empathetic leader. The many stories of pain or troubles might be non-intentionally projected onto you.

It is an honor to be trusted, to be the go-to person when employees are feeling vulnerable. And most leaders have a “fix-it-DNA”. We get energized by helping others and sort out things.

For you to be that in a sustainable manner, you must nourish yourself – be aware of the signs that your energy is running low. Then it’s time for a period to set boundaries around your time, your availability, and your needs. It can be by making extra space in your calendar. Or schedule time to do something that fills you up in your daily life, rather than running on empty fumes.

There is nothing essentially wrong in being a central support person – and it is a part of the job description of a leader - of cause. But be clear about what is work matters and what is private matters? – you should Listen – yes but do something about the work matters.

If you want to be a successful leader or to have the drive to pursue the strategy, this is essential learning. We need to be able to cultivate our energy, to have enough of it to follow through in all areas of our leadership.
