Namaste Denmark platform is envisioned as a platform to connect People to People (P2P), Business to Business (B2B) & Opportunities to Opportunities ( O2O) between India & Denmark.

Keeping this in mind, we had a forum titled Skill & Scale- India Denmark Forum at event. The Title is inspired from ModiJi's slogan of "Denmark has skills & India has scale" which he coined during his May 2022 visit to Denmark.

We thank our esteemed panelists India in Denmark (Embassy of India, Copenhagen) Ambassodor Manish Prabhat ji, Former Embassy of Denmark in India Ambassodor Freddy Svane, Tata Consultancy Services Denmark head Vikram Sharma & DI Director Bente!

This lively forum discussed past, current & future issues concerning Denmark & India relationship.

We thank our panelists for open dialogue and agreed that despite all global issues THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

Namaste Denmark started with Yog session. Yog is India's Gift To Humanity. This is a gift thats well liked in Denmark as well.

Many yog practitioners travel to India for getting trained. Our Yog Team volunteers did a fabulous job of conducting 1 hour yog session to kick start the program.

Besides our great cultural shows from different states of Bharat, we had Indian Culture Experience Zone with Pagadi & Sari draping, Bindi, Mehandi, Jewelry & Ayurveda stalls.

We are glad that many came and experienced beautiful Indian culture at Namaste Denmark Event!

There was something for everyone at the event!

Namaste Denmark platform was envisioned few years ago as the biggest platform for best of everything Indian in Denmark & for every Friend Of India In Denmark.

It took us some years to finally make it a reality but oh boy what happened yesterday was better than any of our wildest dreams!

With immense gratitude & profound gratefulness, we thank India in Denmark (Embassy of India, Copenhagen) ,Ambassodor Manish Prabhat ji, HoC Pankaj Singhal Ji, Second Secretary Devender Arora ji, Counsellor Ashish Arya ji & all embassy staff for their guidance and support.

We also thank Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India Diaspora India Connect for making this event possible with their generous support.

Namaste Denmark is grand showcase of ability of Indians coming together and bringing best of Bharat to people of Denmark. Over 200 participants from various Indian community associations, participated in this event. From North To South & West To East, every bit of India was represented. We thank all the program participants for their sheer hard work & dedication. Our Desi DJ truly rocked towards the end and turned Radhuspladsen to a giant Indian party!!

With over 10000+ visitors during the course of event, this has truly rocked the heart of Copenhagen with vibrant colors, beats, cultural and tastes of India. People who attended the event were just mesmerized with the scale and grandeur of this mega event.

Our selfless volunteers are the foundation on which we execute all our work. We thank our volunteers with bottom of our heart for all their hard work for past many months. We deeply appreciate Gurudwara Saheb volunteers for Turban Drapping Sewa.

For each of our stall owners & sponsors, who saw the potential of this event our heartfelt thanks and appreciation.

To all those who were able to participate in event and attended it with all energy, thank you for being there & becoming part of history! We will see you next year.

Namaste Denmark is a collaborative platform where we celebrate the people who contributed immensely to strengthen bond between two great democracies.

Who better than former ambassador of Denmark to India Freddy Svane for the inaugural "Indo-Danish Person Of The Year" Award !!

Its our honor that this award is now being proudly displayed in Freddy's home. Dear Freddy on behalf of Indian Diaspora In Denmark & all friends of India in this great nation, we were honored to present this award to you.

As it would be abundantly clear by the recent geopolitical situation, Indians never forget their true friends & well wishers. Freddy will always be in our hearts.
