✨ Line and the courage to not have it all figured out

This week’s Community Breakfast was about communication, movement, work life, and the very human feeling of not having everything figured out.

Line shared her work at Merrild-Jensen ApS, where she works with communication in a field that can seem technical, complex, and a little corporate at first.

What stood out most was how openly Line spoke about the in between. Turning complexity into clarity, wanting a more active and social work life, and exploring what might come next without needing all the answers right away.

It was a reminder that uncertainty is not always a problem to solve. Sometimes it is a space to move through.

🌿 Summer is here, and we’re heading back to the garden for special occasions

One of the best parts of summer at Republikken is moving the community outside for events like Garden Chill and our famous Summer Party & Garden Games later this year.

Fresh air, cold drinks, good company, and a few garden games to ease into the weekend together.

We can’t wait to see our members back in the garden again this year for relaxed afternoons, conversations, laughter, and a bit of friendly competition.

It is one of the small joys of being part of a varied community. People bring different skills, ideas, and experiences into the house.

Holly previously ran a headshot photography business in NYC, and it was great to have her share that experience with the community here at Republikken.

✨ Eddy and the future of learning

This week’s Community Breakfast was about education, technology, and how classroom experience can shape better digital learning.

Eddy shared his work at Synthesis, where he helps build interactive maths lessons for children through a conversational learning app.

What stood out most was the focus on understanding. A wrong answer is not always just wrong. Sometimes it reveals how a child is thinking, where the gap is, and what kind of support they need next.

It was a great reminder that good technology is not only about what it can do. It is about how thoughtfully it is built, and who it is built for.
