We are nearly halfway through the year and there are 6 months to achieve our New Year’s resolutions!
When we have , what changes first is ourselves. We’ve found that through working with hundreds of clients, the most effective and efficient way to have it all is lighten the load to past **blocks**.
For my high achieving clients, people pleasing was a coping mechanism developed to be accepted whatever the expense, including oneself. This is from years of that professional achievements are insufficient to fill self worth.
How this looks is:
🚫 Cutting off people prematurely to avoid rejection
🔄 Ruminating over people and events from past
❌ Procrastinating at the first sign of progress
Overcoming this is as straightforward as ABC:
1️⃣ A: ADDRESS that the abuse happened/happening to yourself
2️⃣ B: BREAKTHROUGH get out of it by removing yourself or setting boundaries
3️⃣ C: CALIBRATE by integrating back into regular social settings. This is key 🔑 !
Calibrate is the true test to see if you’ve really healed. It’s easy to cut everyone off, but most of the world will never go through any form of personal development to have the awareness.
See them for their intention, have compassion, yet the backbone to say no.
