Meet (Sash), Senior Project Manager at Dalberg Media, based in New Delhi.

Sash brings over three decades of experience across health, gender, early childhood development and strategic communications, plus a rare ability to cut through noise and get to what actually matters. ✨

In this short conversation with her, we asked: What’s one memory from your time at Dalberg Media that captures what the experience has meant to you?

“It’s not one memory - it’s a series of them. Working across such a diverse range of social development issues has pushed my curiosity in the best way. But what stays with me most is the people. At Dalberg Media, kindness isn’t an act - it’s just how people are. Wellness isn’t a policy, it’s a value. And perhaps most importantly, I’ve felt accepted for exactly who I am and what I bring to the table. That’s rarer than it sounds.”

We’re still reflecting on an impactful week at the 78th World Health Assembly. Our two biggest in-house initiatives, Re:solve Global Health and the Danish Alliance for Global Health, were on the ground in Geneva!

joined critical conversations on health equity, universal health coverage, sustainable financing, health systems innovation, and the newly adopted resolution on rare diseases: all central to our mission and to the future of global health.

Meanwhile, the Danish Alliance for Global Health launched its brand new Climate-Health Case Catalogue, spotlighting seven real-world examples of how climate and health action come together across geographies and sectors. 🌍

We’re proud that Hanna Ohm Cleaver, our Senior Project Manager, is currently seconded as Acting Head of Secretariat for the Alliance 💪.

📍 Next stop: in Denmark later this week! The Alliance will be hosting and joining events on global health. Come say hi, and don’t forget to grab a copy of the case catalogue 👋. Follow along on LinkedIn for updates.

How are climate change, geopolitics, and new EU ESG laws transforming Denmark’s trade with Africa? 🔸

A new analysis by our in-house colleague Jakob Dreyer in collaboration with Ethical Trade Denmark dives into how global shifts are reshaping expectations around trade, and where new opportunities for sustainable partnerships are emerging 🤝.

The piece features insights from Danish companies such as Coffee Collective, sharing how they work with ESG and sustainability in practice, and Salling Group, on navigating the new EU ESG regulations.

At Dalberg Media, we developed the visual identity, data graphics, and outreach strategy for the report. Now, we’re excited to share it with you 🚀.

Spring kept our Copenhagen office busy 🐝 Not just in our iconic basement, but well beyond it.

One highlight? Co-hosting a powerful panel on climate adaptation with BRAC, bringing together government representatives from Bangladesh, Liberia, Tanzania, and Uganda. The panel spoke about solutions for climate resilience, grounded in locally led action and women’s leadership. Alongside this, we had several dinners, one of them being a seasonal one at Øens Have. 🌱

We finished off the week with a morning briefing alongside our Brussels colleagues and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosted for the Global Health Alliance, spotlighting new momentum in global health collaboration.

More to come. See you in the basement?

This week had an exciting start, as Dalberg Media joined a WHO roundtable on climate and health, exploring how health can drive climate action.

Our key takeaways:
🖋️ Health is a powerful but underused climate lever.
🖋️ Climate and health must be tackled together, not in silos.
🖋️ Solutions should benefit both the planet and planet.
🖋️ Engaging more voices—policymakers, city planners, and beyond—is key.

The conversation is just beginning—let’s keep moving forward.
