Today is Women’s Entrepreneurship Day 🎉 A day where we celebrate entrepreneurs, not for being ‘female entrepreneurs’, but for making a significant change in the world and being powerful rolemodels 🙌

Even though the Nordic countries set a great example of gender equality, our tech sector is still much dominated by men. It’s great that facts from the eco-system are brought to light, so that actions can be made by all actors in the startup ecosystem. We are going in the right direction - but we can go way further!

Seed Capital Denmark has a clear ESG profile, and signed the ‘Diversity Commitment’ initiated by Found Diverse and its exceptional founders Liva Echwald & Stine Colding Alstrup - thereby committing to increase diversity in the companies of tomorrow.

Our ambition is to do better by supporting ambitious and skilled female founders in Denmark as well as ensure more diversity in general on teams and boards.

Not just because it has become a trend to do or say so, but because that’s how you get the greatest talents and highest potential for success!

“We are happy, that our investors are supporting Seed Capital’s investment strategy. Thereby helping us to be a meaningful partner to our founders through their entire journey of building their growth companies to successful exit. This is potentially also very sound financially”. Abzu and Contera Pharma are partnering to design RNA therapeutics for rare diseases using xAI technology 👏 Abzu has built a groundbreaking AI platform which enables predictions that can be explained which is a revolutionary leap from the existing black box approaches.

Abzu recently landed a record-breaking seed round of DKK 43 million, which followed Abzu’s significant traction with several of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.

In the new partnership, Abzu will collaborate exclusively with Contera Pharma on two undisclosed targets within rare neurological diseases.
