Yesterday, signals suggested the US could postpone potential military action.

This morning, we at Eagle Shark received information through our intelligence channels indicating a reported US-Israeli airstrike in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan province, with at least 6 people killed and 28 injured, including reports of impact on a residential area. Details remain unconfirmed.

At the same time, a different kind of signal is emerging. The Lufthansa Group has extended flight suspensions across multiple Middle Eastern destinations until 24 October, including Abu Dhabi, Amman, Erbil, Beirut, Riyadh, Dammam, Muscat, and Tehran.

This is not a reaction to a single incident. It reflects how risk is now being assessed, not as a short-term spike, but as a sustained operational reality.

Operational Update Middle East

The situation in parts of the Middle East is evolving rapidly, and many organisations are currently reviewing their contingency planning for personnel in the region.

At EAGLE SHARK, crisis response and evacuation operations are part of our core operational experience. Based on our current network and local partners, we maintain operational capability across parts of the Levant and GCC and can mobilise evacuation support rapidly when required.
Our current operational evacuation corridors include:

Israel → Jordan:

• Sheikh Hussein Bridge → Amman
• King Hussein / Allenby Bridge → Amman
• Wadi Araba → Amman

From Amman, onward relocation, secure accommodation and international departures can be coordinated.

GCC relocation corridors:

• Bahrain → Riyadh
• Dubai → Muscat (via Al Ain / Hatta)

In addition to transport coordination, we are able to support with:

• Crisis evacuation planning
• Secure ground transport with vetted drivers
• Liaison officers and operational coordination
• Security-vetted accommodation and safehouses
• Temporary relocation support while awaiting onward travel
