Simulate Active Selection is a new feature in CIMCO Edit that makes it easier to inspect and edit specific sections of NC programs. Simply select the relevant NC code and the Backplot and Solid Simulation views update instantly to show the corresponding toolpath. As of today, September 1st, Core replaces Standard with advanced NC editing and full backplotting, while Ultra replaces Professional and adds even more value with advanced simulation and verification capabilities, including collision detection, safety checks, over-travel reporting, and advanced stopping conditions.

We are excited to share that we are working on a Planner module for CIMCO MDC-Max to help production planners schedule work orders across machines in a clear, timeline-based interface directly in the browser. The module is still in early development, but it is expected to support drag-and-drop operation planning, scheduling only on supported machines, dependencies across machines, live machine status from MDC-Max, shift configuration per machine, and detailed work order and operation information.
