GN Resound used the INTENT process to set the direction and guide the development of a new class of hearing instrument.

The Resound One has just been launched (Aug 25, 2020). It has a microphone inside the ear, that allows the shape of the person's outer ear, the pinna, to be part of providing a more natural sound, where directional information is kept and speech understanding in noise is improved. In clinical studies, 90% of people said they preferred this hearing solution.

The founders of the Danish Design Award - the Danish Design Centre and Design Denmark - used the INTENT process to create a shared mission between the two organisations for the Award - "We celebrate the difference design can make".

Now in its fifth year, the Award is going from strength to strength and requires a longer-term vision to guide its future development.

The INTENT approach is again being used to create this vision - as can be seen here from a recent workshop with the two organisations.

GN Hearing used the INTENT process to renew and develop their approach to rechargeable hearing aids.

The first product to emerge from this new approach was released about a year ago, received excellent reviews and by all accounts is selling extremely well.

The founders of Health Tech Hub Copenhagen, used the INTENT process to co-create their manifesto, together with the first companies that form the Hub.

With a year of their INTENT process, the founders of the FUND Friskole (independent school) launched their new school. The school in Odense opened on August 12th, 2019 with 110 children and a waiting list of 350.

This article headline says in Danish - "This new school has struck the spirit of the time". The school founders used the INTENT process to create the manifesto for the school - and put their vision into a clearly formulated language.

The founders have created a school that I would have liked to go to, and one that I would have liked to send my son to. And the concept is scalable. I don't think this will be the only FUND school and I look forward to working with the team for many years to come.
