What a night!

Saturday evening on Kronborg Castle illuminated in blue, white and red, Charles III's coronation was celebrated with a Black-Tie Gala dinner in the Royal Ballroom.



The festivities, was quite literally, shot off with a three-shot canon salute from the ramparts of the Castle, followed by a dinner featuring various delicacies from the UK, pomp and circumstances and a live performance in front of the guests of a scene from Shakespeare Hamlet.



Guest of Honour was HIs Majesty's Representative and Defence Attaché in the British Embassy Copenhagen, Colonel Neil Bellamy.



The event was hosted by the The Royal Society of St. George in Denmark and supported by St. Andrews Society in Denmark, and British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark (BCCD).

Monday morning the attendees got the answer from Lars Løkke Rasmussen himself at our Election Breakfast Briefing, held in Gorrissen Federspiel’s Auditorium.



The Premium event, held together with 7:59 - Danish News Today, attracted a large crowd of Diplomats, Embassy representatives and Business leaders.

In November 2021 Vestas was hit by a Cyber Attack.

Today Britain and the world say a final farewell to HM Queen Elizabeth II

On behalf of the British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark we express our condolences to the Royal family on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

She has provided over seven decades of selfless service not only to the UK and the Commonwealth but to the world.

It is with great sadness that we mourn her passing. She will be sorely missed.

During the mourning period a condolences book will be open at the British Embassy Copenhagen during the following hours:

Monday, 12 September 1100-1500
Weekdays until the State Funeral 1200-1400

If you wish to pay your respects, you are welcome to visit the Embassy during these times.

You are also welcome to lay flowers at the entrance to the Embassy. Messages of condolence will be passed to Buckingham Palace in due course.

The BCC is greatly saddened to learn of the death of its patron, Her Majesty The Queen.

She was a great supporter of business throughout her reign. On behalf of the Chamber Network we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family on their profound loss.

Ambassador Roundtable
For the third year in a row, together with DKUK we had the great pleasure of co-hosting the Ambassador Roundtable with HE Emma Hopkins, the British Ambassador to Denmark and HE Lars Thuesen, the Danish Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Our members got an update from the Ambassadors on DK-UK diplomatic and trade relations, including the most recent updates and observations on the UK’s new relationship with EU countries including Denmark.

The Ambassadors then took questions from the participants.
