I'm SO proud to have been part of the Novo Nordisk discovery team that identified Semaglutide as a suitable diabetes drug development candidate!!
Semaglutide ('217) simply is a great compound ! - I was personally 'sold' from the minute I saw (normalisation of) the blood gluocse profile in diabetic mice- truely impressive!
- I look forward to hear more at the EASD (European Diabetes meeting) next week and to follow this compound in the future :-)

WEAR RED TO STOP DIABETES was the theme on sunday at the American Diabetes Associations annual meeting - well I often wear red - and even drive red - and I would really, really like to stop diabetes - hopefully together with my friend and Scientific Advisor, Arpad Szallasi (Mr. TRPV1) :-)
